Deficiencies of the Deficit Sects
or
As instructed by the Voice of the Lord, this web site frequently refers to Christendom sects, as the deficit sects. There are many who can point out errors in Christendom today, but none like this site, which shows you the way to purity, holiness, union, in the Kingdom of God within, while on earth and forever. This web page lists the problems. The solution is found in How to Receive the Changing Power of God, to become free from sin and enter the Kingdom of Heaven. The encouragement and hope is found throughout the web site, particularly the writings of the twenty plus souls who attained the purifying baptism of death, and entrance into heavenly Jerusalem while still writing on the earth.
Christendom's error is based on deceptively twisted definitions of three words: grace, the word, and salvation. (Click on each word to learn its true meaning.) These incorrect definitions, lead people to presume they are immune to all the Bible's warnings and all the Bible's stated requirements, while being unaware of heaven's availability while on earth. So today's Christendom, listening to the words of the scriptures, hears them like a beautiful song that is sweet to their ears, but they fail to apply the commands to themselves - always thinking the warnings and commands apply to bad people, not righteous people like themselves; so they do not obey the commands they hear.
Indeed you [God] are to them as a very lovely song of one who has a pleasant voice and can play well on an instrument;
for they hear your words, but they do not do them.
But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.
The following is the list of the deficiencies of the deficit sects of Christendom today:
- There is no fear of God. Their hearts are far from me, their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men. Isa 29:13
- There is no obedience. -- you are to them as a very lovely song, they hear your words, but they do them not. Eze 33:32
- The sects teach that seeking God is not necessary, just believing is all there is to do, (other than attend their sect meetings and give them your money). Yet Jesus tells us that seeking the Kingdom of God and His righteousness should be our highest priority, above food and clothes, and keep on seeking and you will find. The Bible gives us many admonitions to seek diligently, early, with our whole heart and soul. To seek God and find him is the whole purpose of life. He [God] has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us; for in Him we live and move and have our being; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in you all.
- Sin has been minimized, misunderstood, or totally forgotten. They can't discern their right hand and left hand. Jonah 4:11
- The concept of repentance has been forgotten. Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. Luke 13:5
- The inward cross of self-denial has been forgotten, dismissed, ignored, and treated with contempt.
- No one is taught how to receive the power of God to change their hearts, removing even the desire to sin.
- Grace is misunderstood to be instant salvation; and an excuse for all their sins: past, present, and forever.
- The Bible is mistaken for the Word of God, so people read instead of listen to God. and the Word was God. John 1:1
- They do not understand that Christ is within them, waiting to teach them. Christ in you, the hope of Glory. 1 John 2:27
- They think God is outward, far off in heaven - but He is in them, in their hearts, chained down, waiting to grow. Rom 10:8
- Covetousness is encouraged, even preached as the gospel of prosperity. Beware of covetousness...life is not things. Luk 12:15
- The operations and necessity of the light have been totally forgotten.
- Works of faith are not encouraged, and often warned against. Faith without works is dead. James 2:20,26
- Tithes are collected and paid.
- They think salvation is in the Bible. You search the scriptures thinking to find eternal life, but will not come to me.
- Salvation is to be presumed, based on what others tell you the Bible means, based on man's invented heathenish rituals, ceremonies, words spoken, or food eaten. A salvation that results from the inward cross of self-denial to purity, brought by the appearance of Jesus in your heart, who judges you, destroys the residual man of sin within you by the brightness of his coming, and takes you to the Kingdom of Heaven, where you have fellowship with the Father and the Son, seeing the glory of God - all this is ignored, assumed to be impossible, discounted, even denigrated. By taking a few scriptures and twisting them, the deficit sects have created a false salvation, with false promises, which shall be annulled. It is written: He that says to the wicked, 'You are righteous;' him shall the people curse, nations shall abhor him; particularly those who have sold and assured them of a false salvation.
- The deficit sects teach that a religious experience (really just a wake-up call) of God is evidence of being filled with the Holy Spirit. When, if one is truly filled with the Holy Spirit, their thoughts, words, and actions are controlled by the Holy Spirit.
- The sects tell their followers that they are in Christ, when only those who belong to Christ Jesus (the Messiah) have crucified the flesh (the godless human nature) with its passions and appetites and desires.
- The deficit sects preach the headlines, while ignoring the fine print of the contract - fine print which plainly states the details of the requirements to be holy, pure, and perfect; and the exclusions of the impure, immoral, or greedy.
- People are taught to tell God what they want, instead of being silent to listen to God so he can tell us what he wants us to do. Be still and know I am God. , Be silent all flesh. Listen to and obey My voice, and I will be your God and you will be My people; and walk in the whole way that I command you.
- The prayer of the wicked [those who still sin] is an abomination to the Lord, but the prayer of the upright is his delight. Pro 15:8
- Ministers are paid, against Peter's and Jesus' commands: Feed the flock, not for filthy lucre. Freely you have received, freely give.
- Heathenish ritual, a form [empty shell], and superstitious ceremony have replaced worship in Spirit and Truth.
- Ministers speak from a divination of their mind rather than words supplied at the moment from the Holy Spirit.
- Ministers steal the words of the saints, instead of speaking words heard directly from God.
- Ministers speak a flow of lies, based on their position, and the people love it.
- The rest has been totally forgotten and totally misunderstood.
- The kingdom is totally misunderstood.
- The ministers don't have the fruit of the Spirit; instead they have thorns and briers.
- Ministers, evangelists, teachers, have not been appointed by the Holy Spirit.
- God's requirements and promises of perfection, holiness, and purity are ignored and denied as being possible for man on earth.
- The Bible is their authority, judge, and rule - not the Holy Spirit of God and Christ.
- Swearing is mistaken to be profanity; while swearing [oaths] is common among Christians.
- Church buildings are an expression of man's pride and vanity, and were never commanded by God.
- Union with Christ and God has been totally ignored, assumed to be impossible, or presumed to occur from asking.
- People think they have been born again, while still in their sinful nature; to be born again and sinning are mutually exclusive.
- They incorrectly tell people that they can give their hearts to Jesus, just by saying so. You only give your heart to Jesus by obeying his each and every command listened to and heard; then he takes your sin from your heart, inch by inch - in a spiritual battle that he wins - if you persevere in repentance and obedience to the end. First he has to break your heart, then circumcise it.
- They tell people by just inviting Jesus into their hearts, he becomes their Lord and Savior. Yet Jesus was already there, in the hearts of all men and women who come into the world. He is chained down, waiting patiently for you to seek, listen, and obey - so he can grow in you and take full possession of your heart, to rule and guide your words and actions; and until he controls all of your words and actions, you are still a servant of sin under the power of Satan, not the Lord.
- People are promised heaven after death, just by believing that Jesus is the Son of God; which the demons do and tremble.
- People interpret a spiritual experience (God's wake up call) to be born again, baptised by the Spirit, or worse: a call to preach.
- So-called Christians, with evil still in their hearts, are told by their sects to witness to others.
- Without obeying his commands, so-called Christians think:
They know Jesus: We know that we have come to know him if we obey his commands.
They love Jesus: If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching.
They are a friend of Jesus: You are my friends if you do what I command.
They have been born again while still sinning: Whoever has been born of God does not sin.
- They have a form [empty shell] of godliness, without Power.
- They are assemblies of hypocrites - talking about religion, but walking in sin.
- Each sect has redefined what God requires, what Jesus insists on, what his message was. They each worship a different Jesus. They each proclaim a different gospel. They are cursed.
- They each pray, not to God, but to the collective spirit of their group, which has imagined their God and his requirements.
- These sects are all derived from the Roman Catholic sect, preserving the vast majority of that sect's heathenish traditions, beliefs, and ceremonies.
- The so-called 30,000 Christian sects are Babylon - painted to imitate and appear like Zion;
If you can see these deficiencies, it is not too late to experience hearing and seeing your savior. This web site's purpose is to show how to become free from sin
by benefiting from the changing power of God through the cross, which leads to union with God in his Kingdom. But you cannot stay in Babylon and reach Zion; for what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?
Come out of her my people, so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues.
Yes, all the deficit sects of today comprise Revelation's Whore of Babylon, of which all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, because all the sects are simply evolutional varieties of the Roman Empire's church, both east and west, whose doctrines were dictated by the sainted Emperors Constantine and Justinian the despot, thus eliminating the true gospel by 390 AD. As prophesied in Revelations, the church adulterated with the Kings of the earth. This deficit is hardly surprising, when you consider that Christ's disciples and apostles (John, Peter, Paul, and Jude) wrote of false teachers and preachers in their time, 2000 years ago.
He [the beast] was further permitted to wage war on God's holy people (the saints) and to overcome them. And power was given him to extend his authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation. The beast of the Book of Revelation is the beast of heathen religious authority, which power was severely curtailed [a wound to the head] by early Christianity, particularly in the Mediterranean region. But a second beast shortly arose that had horns like a lamb, but was a beast. Note, this beast appears to be Christian-like, and under pretence of the Lamb's authority, (though acted by the dragon's power, derived from the first beast of heathen religion) compels men to comply with such traditions, ceremonies, and rituals, (for Christian duties), as resemble the customs of the heathen, in their idolatrous worship and superstition. The whole earth followed this beast, and still does. Thus, the false church arose, and no one could spiritually buy or sell, (like the foolish virgins for oil in their lamps), unless they complied with the beast and had received the false church's mark. Any who denied this false church, or who tried to buy or sell (spiritual works by mind or hand) without the sanction of the false church were martyred, as their predecessors had done before, under the heathen power, or first beast. And while this false church is often identified by the Protestants as the Roman church, the Protestants are all derivatives of the same false whore, (the beast has many names), salvation based on saying certain words, water, bread and wine - all heathenish, superstitious rituals - instead of a complete change of heart - circumcised to be a new heart and mind.
Anyone, who tried to increase their measure of Christ by any way that differed from the doctrine of the false church (to buy or sell spiritual oil differently for their lamps), was not only stopped; they were killed - which really made them unable to buy or sell.
Many Roman Catholic persecutions were justified by Saint(?) Augustine's famous: Why ... should not the Church use force in compelling her lost sons to return, if the lost sons compelled others to their destruction?" - A classic example of the end justifies the means, which looses sight of the principal command of Christ to "love enemies," not destroy them. Another supposed saint(?), Thomas Aquinas wrote: On the part of the Church, however, there is mercy which looks to the conversion of the wanderer, wherefore she condemns not at once, but "after the first and second admonition," as the Apostle directs: after that, if he is yet stubborn, the Church no longer hoping for his conversion, looks to the salvation of others, by excommunicating him and separating him from the Church, and furthermore delivers him to the secular tribunal to be exterminated thereby from the world by death. These revered saints(?) ignore Christ's reply to his disciples when they wished to punish the people who would not listen to him, severely rebuking them with: Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. If someone is violating the standards of the church, (sinning), they are supposed to be warned by one, then warned by two or three, then censured by the whole body of believers, - and if they fail to repent of their error, they are supposed to be expelled and shunned - not killed, or imprisoned, or tortured, or to lose their property.
Protestants killed heretics too. John Calvin, was a principal founder of Protestantism, having great influence on the Presbyterians, Congregationalists, Baptists, and even Lutherans. Calvin had Servetus arrested and wrote charges of heresy against him; Servetus denied the scriptural support of the trinity and infant baptism. Calvin's charges and arrest of him resulted in Servetus being burned at the stake. Calvin, with many other Protestant authorities, further participated in the burning of twenty-three others with differing religious views. Calvin wrote: Whoever shall maintain that wrong is done to heretics and blasphemers in punishing them makes himself an accomplice in their crime and guilty as they are. There is no question here of man's authority; it is God who speaks, and clear it is what law he will have kept in the church, even to the end of the world. Wherefore does he demand of us a so extreme severity, if not to show us that due honor is not paid him, so long as we set not his service above every human consideration, so that we spare not kin, nor blood of any, and forget all humanity when the matter is to combat for His glory. The apologists of Calvin spilling blood and forgetting all humanity point out that many other Protestants killed heretics too - (the everybody-did-it defense).
Jesus said: .. whoever kills you will think and claim that he has offered service to God.
And the whore was drunk on the blood of the saints - the Roman church's inquisitions and slaughters throughout Europe, in which during the Middle Ages (800 AD to 1500 AD) nine million souls were put to death, accused of witchcraft. This was followed by the Protestants of England and America who in 50 years were responsible for the deaths of over 700 Quakers in the 17th Century. The persecutors of the Quakers included Episcopalians, Presbyterians, Congregationalists, and Baptists. She boasts she is not a widow and will never see grief. She boasts that Christ is her husband; but she, the whore, only claims his name but ignores his command commands to repent, his teachings, his requirements, his warnings, his required holiness, his gospel, his Kingdom, his promised freedom from sin, and his inward cross of self-denial - the Missing Cross to Purity.
If you want to read more about how today's sects are the whore and the beast of Babylon, Isaac Penington has very thorough explanations on this site: 1. Babylon the Great, and 2. The Great Apostasy; also available is Janney's History of the Church and Francis Howgill's expose of the deterioration in Christianity.
The pastors and shepherds of these false sects profess that they know God;
but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient,
and unto every good work reprobate.
Thus says the Lord God: I am against the shepherds,
Behold, I, I Myself, will search for My sheep and will seek them out.
Be you separate, said the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
and will be a father unto you, and you shall be my sons and daughters, said the Lord Almighty.
Otherwise, you maybe among those, who thought they were Christians,
and to whom Christ referred to when he said:
Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name,
and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?
'Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'
Jesus replied,"I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave to sin.
The acts of the sinful nature include sexual immorality, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, [greed],
sorcery, hatred,
contentions,
jealousies,
rage, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, etc.
...those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
You can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person..has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
Let no one deceive you with empty words,
for because of such things God's wrath comes on those who are disobedient.
This web site's purpose is to show how to become
free from sin
by benefiting from the changing power of God through the cross,
which leads to union with God in his Kingdom.
