2 John 1

1:1 The elder, to the elect lady and her children, whom I love in the truth, and not I only, but also all those who have known the truth,

1:2 Because of the truth that dwells in us, and will be with us forever:

1:3 Grace, mercy, and peace be with you, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.

1:4 I rejoiced greatly that I found some of your children walking in truth, as we have received the command from the Father.

1:5 And now I beseech you, lady, not as though I wrote a new command to you, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.

1:6 And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his teachings and commands.1 This is the command, that as you have heard from the beginning, you should walk in it.

1:7 For many deceivers have entered into the world, people who do not confess Jesus as Christ [the anointing] coming in their flesh. This is the deceiver and an antichrist.2

1:8 Look to yourselves, that you may not lose those things that you have worked for, but that you may receive a full reward.

1:9 Whoever runs ahead and does not remain in the teachings of Christ, does not have God. He who remains in the teachings of Christ, has both the Father and the Son.3

1:10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house, neither wish him Godspeed [or success in his future endeavors];4

1:11 For anyone who wishes him Godspeed is a partaker of his evil deeds.

1:12 I have many things to write to you, but I do not want to write with paper and ink; I hope to come to you, and speak face to face, that our joy may be full.

1:13 The children of your elect sister greet you. Amen.

1 And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his teachings and commands. This is the net of being a Christian; obedience to the commands of Jesus:

Without obedience, you  cannot know Jesus: We know that we have come to know him if we obey his commands. 1 John 2:3
Without obedience, you cannot love Jesus: If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. John 14:23
Without obedience you are not a friend of Jesus: You are my friends if you do what I command. John 15:14
Without obedience, you cannot have been born again while still sinning: Whoever has been born of God does not sin. 1 John 3:9.

2 For many deceivers have entered into the world, people who do not confess Jesus as Christ [the anointing] coming in their flesh. This is the deceiver and an antichrist. (This is word for word from the original Greek translation.) Christendom is looking for "a single" antiChrist to come. Yet, 2000 years ago, John tells us there were many antiChrists already in the world, who went out from among the real Christians. So Christendom doesn't understand what an antiChrist is.

No half-intelligent false prophet would say that Jesus Christ never walked the earth as a fleshly man; no one would need to be cautioned about such an obvious fraud. That is not the meaning of this test. What this verse means is this: Anyone who denies that Jesus as Christ (the anointing) having come in their flesh, to be their controlling Lord of words and deeds, is antiChrist. Anyone who does not have the anointing controlling them is controlled by a different spirit than Christ. They will even deny there is a controlling anointing to be had. Christ means with God's spirit, or anointing: the anointing which you have received from him abides in you, and you do not need any man to teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you all things, and is truth, and is no lie; and even as it has taught you, abide in him. 1 John 2:27

That is why John said, " many have entered the world;" many who denied that Jesus Christ comes in the flesh of a man, as the anointing, to reveal the man of sin, sitting in the throne of your temple [heart], where he ought not to be, to destroy this wicked one with the brightness of his coming, to crush Satan under you heels, to be resurrected in you as your true Lord and Master, to rule your heart, to make you a partaker of the divine nature.

3 As you progress spiritually in the teachings of Christ, the opposition will appeal to your pride by tempting you to teach or preach or witness before you are clearly told what to do and when to do it, or before you have the words spoken with aid of the Spirit. Don't! This is the test to see if you, like Nimrod, are going to run ahead of your guide, rather than follow. You don't want to hear him say to you, "who has required this at your hand." Remember, only respond to a full command of what to do and when to do it, and of course it has to be morally correct.  Until you are authorized, don't even use the words 'Jesus' or 'God,' (unless you are fellowshipping with others of faith); it is using the Lord's name in vain. Teaching before you are clearly told to teach will halt your progress; that is why all of the many thousands of teachers and preachers, who have been touched by his spirit, never progress to union, and the Kingdom. Anyone who names themselves a 'Christian' without being under Christ's control in speech and actions, is scattering and a stumbling block.

The biggest temptation will be to correct the people of the "deficit sects" who profess a strong love of God, through faith in the Bible. As George Fox said, "do not try to educate the wise." Christ said, "he did not come to call the righteous, but the sinner." He also said, "if you say you can see, your sin remains." You want to help them see their error; but wait - wait until you have the power of God going in front of you, leading you as to where to go and chaining down your listener so that they have to listen. Some will still reject the truth; but they will have heard your words of truth, clearly spoken from His spirit. From George Fox's Letter 48.

And again, I charge you all in the presence of the living God, not to allow your minds to go out to contend with them who are not of the truth, in that which is out of the truth, both which are to be condemned with the truth. For the same mind will boast and get up, which is out of the truth and reaches at things in the comprehension, though it lives not in it, but is excluded out of the truth, and shall not enter; but is for condemnation. And so to you all this is the counsel of the Lord God of power and of peace, that in peace you may be preserved to wait for the spirit of grace, and of wisdom, and of understanding.

The world is His garden. He is the one with the plan. Until you are under his total control, you cannot help him, you will only scatter. He has told me: "Let no one think we don't see and hear all." He has all the thoughts, words, and actions of all men in his consciousness. It is his battle. Wait until you are totally trained; then do only what he precisely tells you to do and when to do it.

4 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house, neither wish him Godspeed [or success in his future]. Any preacher or teacher who does not bring the same hope, the same faith, the same message of the cross to purity is a false prophet. Anyone who takes a salary, asks for tithes, or contributions is a false prophet. They have not been called, taught, and sent by the Lord. Do not welcome such a person into your home, do not give them money, do not wish them success in their endeavors; if you do, you will incur condemnation.
