12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ;3 [The single purpose of the ministry is to perfect the believers: we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom, so that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus. Col 1:28]

13 Until we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;4 [It is impossible for an unperfected minister to help in perfecting the saints, to a perfect man, in the fullness of Christ. Jesus told us that any unperfected minister was a blind guide, because he could not see to take the spec out of his brother's eye due to the log in his own eye, Luke 6:40 and he told us to leave them. Mat 15:14 Any minister who denies perfection is a false prophet that denies the scriptures.]

14 So that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the deceptions and cunning craftiness of men, by which they lie in wait to deceive.
