2 Corinthians 4:6,3:18
6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, has shined in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.1 [Jesus appears, He is seen, He is revealed, in the purified hearts of believers. In Matthew, Mark, and Luke, Jesus is recorded saying that some then standing with him, 2000 years ago, would see his glorious coming in the clouds with the Kingdom before they died. Later Paul, Jesus in Revelation, Peter, James, and John, — all said his appearance was: soon, the time is near, a little while, He stands at the door. It would be a cruel hoax to be waiting on Him to appear if the past 100 generations of believers actually had no hope of ever seeing Him.]
18 And all of us, as with an unveiled face, behold as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, and are changed into the same image from glory to glory, by the Spirit of the Lord.4
19 Before long the world will no longer see me; but you will see me; and because I live, you will also live.
21 He who has my commands, and obeys them, it is he who loves me; and he who loves me shall be loved by my Father, and I will love him and will show myself to him."4 [Obey the commands you hear him speak to you from within your heart, and the words he speaks to you from within you heart impart the life of God, John 6:63; that life of God, Christ, grows within you, as his words are engrafted in your heart, until you become pure and see God in the face of Christ Jesus. Mat 5:8, 2 Cor 4:6.]
22 Then Judas, not Iscariot, said to him, "Lord, how is it that you will show yourself to us, and not to the world?" [This means that Jesus only appears for a second time to those disciples who have obeyed Him, to be purified, and who are waiting on His return in them. He appears in a man's heart; but he is hidden to the world. This applies to all true disciples, (2000 thousand years ago until now), who carry their inward cross of self-denial to crucify their lusts and affection.]
23 And Jesus answered and said to him, "If a man loves me, he will obey my spoken words; and my Father will love him, and we will come to him, and make our home with him5 [in his heart; and they live in a kingdom, into which you are translated. When you are translated into the kingdom, (while still alive on earth), you also see Him. Jesus appears in your heart. Jesus is revealed. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them, and be their God." Rev 21:3.]
28 So Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who persistently and patiently wait for him he will appear the second time, not to bear sin, but to bring full salvation.3 [Those who are persistently and patiently waiting on God, see Jesus appear in their hearts, and see Jesus bring their salvation, which is to be delivered (freed) from all sin. To wait on God is to persistently sit in humble silence, listen for his voice and words, watch for his revelations, hear his commands, and then obey Him; only those who heed and obey Him receive eternal salvation. Heb 5:9. But if we hope for what we do not yet see, then we wait for it [salvation] with patient endurance, Rom 8:25; we wait for salvation. From the Word of the Lord within: "You must wait on the Lord to receive salvation."]
11 [Grace, (the Spirit, the Light), is given to every man so that he might heed its gentle and anonymous appearance and call to repent of his evil ways for God would have all men to be saved.] For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, [To access the purifying power of grace, one must wait on God, listen, watch, and obey what you hear. By grace through inward faith the Spirit charges us to deny ungodliness and lusts, teaching us how to live righteously and godly in this world. As we obey, grace then removes the sins from our heart. Salvation is brought to those who heed and obey Him as they persistently and patiently wait on Him. Heb 5:9, 9:28.]

12 Teaching us to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts, and how to live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; [Grace is in the heart of every man, waiting for a man to turn inward to be taught and changed to become righteous, pure, and holy. A "believer" who dies still sinning is defiled and banned from heaven; grace is not an excuse to bypass judgment or Hell for him; every man is judged by his words and works.]
13 As we receive the blessed fulfillment of our hope, even the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ,
14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity [lawless deeds, sin], and purify for himself a people who are his very own, zealous for good works.1 [Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh (sinful nature), Gal 5:24, to become pure. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. John 10:27. From the Word of the Lord within: "If you are still sinning, you belong to sin and not to Me."]
1 Peter 1:5-9
5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith to salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
6 In that greatly rejoice though it is necessary to suffer a few griefs now through various trials, [To receive salvation and the kingdom you first must suffer through tribulations and hardships. This has been mistranslated to be: you may have to suffer. Indeed, all who are determined to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. 2 Tim 3:12. The same sufferings are being experienced by all your brothers in the world. 1 Pet 5:9. Salvation comes after suffering. ]
7 So that the trial of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tried with fire, might result in praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ.
8 Though you have not seen him, you love him; though you do not see him now, but believe in him, you rejoice with joy that is unspeakable and full of glory,
9 Receiving the end of your faith — the salvation of your souls.3
Jude 1:21
21 Keeping yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring eternal life.6 [You are to experience and see Jesus to bring eternal life, just as Jesus brings your salvation. Neither salvation or eternal life occurs without first destruction of the sinful nature on the inward cross of self-denial, through persistent and patient waiting on God in humble silence, listening, watching, and obeying Him, which obedience is evidence of belief. But if we hope for what we do not yet see, then we wait for it with patience. Rom 8:25. Eternal life and salvation come to those who heed and obey the commands of God as they persistently and patiently wait on Him, Heb 5:9, 9:28.]
