Isaiah 27

1 In that day the LORD with his fierce, great, and strong sword will punish leviathan the swiftly fleeing serpent, even leviathan the twisting and twining serpent; and he will slay the dragon [Satan] that is in the sea [nations of the world].

2 In that day sing to her, "A vineyard of red wine!

3 I, the LORD, keep it, I water it every moment; lest any hurt it, I keep it night and day.

4 Fury is not in me. Would that [internal] briers and thorns were set against me in battle. I would go through them, I would burn them together.

5 Or else let him [Israel] take hold of my strength, so that he may make peace with me; and he shall make peace with me."

6 He shall cause those who come of Jacob to take root, Israel shall blossom and bud and fill the face of the world with fruit.1

7 Has he struck him, as he struck those who struck him? Or has he been slain according to the slaughter of those who are slain by him?

8 You will contend with them in measure, by sending them away; you will removed [exile] them by your rough wind as in the day of the east wind.

9 Therefore by this shall the iniquity of Jacob be purged. And this is the fruit required to take away his sin: when he makes all the stones of the [ idol] altars like chalk that is beaten to pieces, and when the groves and images will not stand up.

10 Yet the defended city will be desolate, and the habitation forsaken and left like a wilderness; there the calf will feed and lie down, and consume its branches.

11 When its boughs are withered, they will be broken off; the women come, and set them on fire. For they are a people of no understanding; therefore he who made them will not have mercy on them, and he who formed them will show them no favor.

12 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD will thresh out his grain from the channel of the river to the stream of Egypt, and you will be gathered one by one, O you children of Israel.

13 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the great trumpet will be blown, and those who were ready to perish in the land of Assyria and the outcasts in the land of Egypt will come and worship the LORD in the holy mount at Jerusalem.

1 Israel shall blossom and bud and fill the face of the world with fruit. This prophecy has not come true, but is the result of all the sinners being destroyed as discussed in the footnotes of Chapter 25 and 26 of Isaiah. Those who have light will not be destroyed, but will live to reestablish Israel worldwide, which the Lord will rule through his saints, in whom he has been resurrected.

There is a day coming when the Lord will destroy all sinners from the earth, whether they think they are saved or not — all sinners will be destroyed. This agrees with Isaiah: This is the purpose that is purposed upon the whole earth; and this is the hand that is stretched out upon all the nations. Isa 14:26. AND He shall destroy the sinners out of the land. Isa 13:9. Because every one of you walks after the imagination of his evil heart, and therefore they do not listen for me. Jer 16:12. And the slain of the LORD shall be at that day from one end of the earth even to the other end of the earth; they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground. Jer 25:33.

Before this happens, as Jeremiah said in Jer 25:31, "he will plead with all flesh." Related messages from the Word of the Lord within in 2008: "There has never been a time like this; all men will twist in the earth. Listen everyone! There is a time coming when the Voice of the Lord will be heard by everyone; take heed and obey. I will recompense my enemies. There is a time coming when all men of the earth will be tried. Behold, I bring a plague upon the whole earth. "

You have expanded the nation, O LORD; you have expanded the nation. You are glorified; you have enlarged it far to all the ends of the earth. Isa 26:15. This is a remarkable statement: Israel will be expanded to include the whole earth; there will be only one nation. Israel will be ruled by the Lord, through His saints in which he has been resurrected. This will occur after the Lord has pleaded with all sinners, and destroyed all who ignore his voice and commands; leaving the earth populated only by his saints, who are partakers in the divine nature and partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light. I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the LORD. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.” Jer 31:33-34. For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. Isa: 11:9, Hab 2:14.

The Lord has said that if he has destroyed the people of Jerusalem, which was called by His name, do we think we will go unpunished? Jer 25:29. Through Jeremiah, He has also told us that walking after the imaginations of our own heart is worse than falling down and worshipping stone or wooden idols. Jer 16:12.

Come, my people, enter you into your chambers and shut your doors behind you; hide yourself, as it were, for a little while, until the indignation is past. The LORD comes out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity. Isa 26:20-21. More prophecy of the Lord finally dealing with the iniquity of the earth, to destroy all those who do not listen to his voice and obey him, after every man hears the Voice of the Lord and turns his back on the Lord. This is like the firstborn of Egypt being destroyed; those who ate the Passover supper and had marked their doors with the blood of the lamb, were spared. The spiritual equivalent is all those of the first birth who will be destroyed; those who have truly died to the flesh, by crucifying their selfish fleshly life, will be spared; having their consciences sprinkled with the blood of Jesus to be purged of dead works, living only in obedience to serve Living God.
