Leviticus 2

Previous Chapter | Next Chapter

When anyone will offer a grain offering to the LORD, his offering shall be of fine flour; and he shall pour oil upon it, and put frankincense on it.

He shall bring it to Aaron's sons, the priests; and the priest shall take from it a handful of the flour oil with all the incense. The priest shall burn this portion for a memorial of it upon the altar, as an offering made by fire as a sweet savor to the LORD.

The remainder of the grain offering shall be for Aaron and his sons; it is a most holy part of the offerings to the LORD made by fire.

And if you bring an oblation of a grain offering baked in the oven, it shall be unleavened cakes of fine flour mingled with oil, or unleavened wafers anointed with oil.

If your oblation is a cereal offering baked in a pan, it shall be of fine flour unleavened, mingled with oil.

You shall cut it in pieces, and pour oil on it; it is a cereal offering.

And if your oblation is a cereal offering baked in the frying pan, it shall be made of fine flour with oil.

And you shall bring the cereal offering that is made of these things to the LORD; and when it is presented to the priest, he shall bring it to the altar.

And the priest shall take a portion of the cereal offering as a memorial, and shall burn it upon the altar; it is an offering made by fire as a sweet savor to the LORD.

And what is left of the food offering shall be Aaron and his sons; it is a thing most holy of the offerings of the LORD made by fire.

All cereal offerings that you bring to the LORD will be made without leaven; for you shall not burn leaven or any honey in any offering to the LORD made by fire.

As for the oblation of the first fruits, you shall offer them to the LORD; but they shall not be burnt on the altar for a sweet savor.

And every oblation of your cereal offering shall be seasoned with salt; neither shall you allow the salt of the covenant of your God to be lacking from your cereal offering; with all your offerings you shall offer salt.

And if you offer a cereal offering of your first fruits to the LORD, you shall offer for the cereal offering of your first fruits newly crushed grain dried by the fire, even grain beaten out of the fresh ear.

And you shall put oil upon it, and lay incense on it; it is a cereal offering.

And the priest shall burn the memorial of it, part of its beaten grain with part of the oil and with all its incense; it is an offering made by fire to the LORD.
