Matthew 24:3-34

3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, "Tell us, when will these things occur? And what will be the sign of your coming, and of the end of the world?" [Note! In verse 34 below Jesus says: ALL of the next discourse of end times prophecies will be fulfilled before that generation died, proving his 2nd appearance, the tribulations, the end of the world, and the Kingdom are all a personal experience of the purified believer!]

4 And Jesus answered and said to them, "Take heed that no man deceives you.

5 For many will come in my name, saying, 'I am Christ;' and will deceive many.

6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be famines and pestilences and earthquakes in many places.

8 All these are only the beginning of sorrows.

9 Then they will deliver you up to be afflicted, and will kill you; and you will be hated by all nations for my name's sake.

10 Then many will be offended, and will betray one another, and hate one another.

11 Many false prophets will rise, and will deceive many.1 [Jesus said the false prophets in sheep's clothing would come. John said the antichrists and false apostles had come and had gone out from among them. Peter saw the false teachers had come. Paul saw the false apostles had come, and warned the brothers night and day for three years of more coming. And in Revelation, John saw where the whole world was to go after the false prophets and the false church, which occurred shortly afterwards. The false church is Revelation's whore of Babylon, riding the beast of many names, (41,000 sects in Christendom), with horns like a lamb [resembles the true church], but who speaks like a dragon, (men speaking from their carnal minds, which is enmity against God, and their vain opinions from their evil imaginations), instead of speaking words supplied by the Holy Spirit, as Jesus and the Apostles did.]

12 Because iniquity [sin] will increase, the love of many will turn cold.

13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved.

14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world for a witness to all nations; and then the end will come.

15 Therefore, when you see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place, (whoever reads, let him understand),2

16 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountain [Christ].

17 Let he who is on the housetop not come down to take anything out of his house.

18 Neither let he who in the field return back to take his clothes.

19 And woe to those who are with child, and to those who are nursing in those days!

20 But pray that your flight is not in the winter or on the Sabbath day.

21 For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be again.

22 And except those days should be shortened, no flesh would be saved, but for the elect's sake those days will be shortened.

23 Then if any man says to you, 'Lo, here is Christ,' or 'There he is;' do not believe it. ["The Father is in you all, Christ is in you, and the Kingdom of Heaven is in you; there, in your hearts, is where you will find them all. Know him there searching your hearts, and find him there trying your minds and hearts; incline your ears, and give ear to him there, who will render to everyone of you according to your words and works whether they are good or evil," (by George Fox). Turn inward.]

24 For there will arise false Christs and prophets, and will show great signs and wonders; so much that, if it were possible, they would deceive the very elect.3 [The false church of Babylon shows great signs and wonders, to convince those who have not been taught by revelation in their hearts by the Spirit of God as to what is the true gospel, the true hope, love vs. lust, sin vs. righteousness, turmoil vs. peace, humility vs. pride, good vs. evil, light vs. darkness, bitter vs. sweet. Since the elect have been taught by the Spirit in revelations, they see past the miracles of the false church and the false prophets; which false prophets live in, and excuse, life-long sin. Although Babylon's false prophets are very difficult to discern, the elect are not deceived.]

25 Behold, I have told you before.

26 Therefore if they say to you, 'Behold, he is in the desert,' do not go forth; or 'Behold, he is in the secret chambers,' do not believe it. [Or, they say, "he is in our church, which is God's house and is holy; come join our sect."]

27 For as the lightning comes out of the east, and shines to the west; so also will the coming of the Son of man be.4 [And so (like we heard God's voice from heaven on the mount) we have the more sure prophetic word [the word in your heart]; to which you do well to pay attention, as to a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts. 2 Pet 1:19. I am .. the bright morning star. Rev 22:16. He who overcomes and keeps my works to the end.. I will give him the morning star. Rev 2:27-28. For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, has shined in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 2 Cor 4:6. From the Word of the Lord within: "Light comes from faith in the voice. First the light arises, then the kingdom. The arising of the light will be unmistakable; it is an ego-shattering experience."]

28 Wherever the dead body is, there the vultures will be gathered together. [See Luke 17:30-37 for better understanding of this verse.]

29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.

30 Then the sign of the Son of man will appear in heaven. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31 And he will send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

32 Now learn the parable of the fig tree: When its branch is still tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near.

33 So likewise, when you shall see all these things occur, know that it is near, even at the doors.

34 Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass, until all these things are fulfilled.5

5 Jesus said, This generation shall not pass, until all these things are fulfilled; including the end of the world, which was the question in verse 3 above that started Jesus' discourse. So, in verse 34 he said that all the end times prophesies will have occurred 2000 ago. In Matthew, Mark, and Luke, Jesus is recorded saying that some then standing with him, 2000 years ago, would see his glorious coming with the Kingdom before they died. In Matthew, Mark and Luke Jesus is also recorded saying all the end times prophesies would be fulfilled before the generation of 2000 years ago died, (click here to see all). This shows that the Second Appearance of Jesus is a personal, individual experience — available to all generations, but only to those who have purified themselves in hope of seeing him: When he appears, we will be like him, for we will see him as he is. And every man who has this hope in him purifies himself, even as he [Jesus] is pure. 1 John 3:2-3. See The Second Appearance of Jesus is in the hearts of Purified Believers for more.

This shows that end of the world is a personal experience, which is the end of the believers spiritual journey as they are translated into the Kingdom of Heaven, a parallel dimension. As Jesus said to his disciples (living 2000 years ago): I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Mat 28:20. And you shall be hated by all men for my name's sake; but he who endures to the end will be saved. Mat 10:22. The end of their current life, at the beginning of their new life. John writes: And the world passes away and disappears, along with its desires and lusts; but he who does the will of God remains forever. 1 John 2:17. And for the purified, the end is to enter union with Christ, which is to enter the Kingdom of Heaven, which occurs on the Day of the Lord. Now all these things happened to them as examples; and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world have come. 1 Cor 10:11. From the Word of the Lord within: "The world ends as you step into another dimension. You can live in heaven and still walk the earth."
