Revelation 1:1-3

 1 [This is the most misunderstood book in the Bible, particularly the myth of the rapture, (see footnote 1 below), that precedes the tribulation and the myth of the antiChrist, (see Footnote 5 of Revelation 13). This is a book which describes the revealing of Jesus Christ within a purified believer, while still on the earth, and to all unpurified people at their death. Before Christ is revealed in man, the man of sin within must first be revealed and crucified on the inward cross of self-denial.

The principal founder of Protestantism, Martin Luther, had harsh words for this book of Revelation, saying that he could "in no way detect that the Holy Spirit produced it." Why?— because Luther insisted no works were required for salvation, and the book of Revelation greatly emphasizes the requirements of Christians to do works, even perfect works. In His messages to the seven churches, Jesus mentions to every church how their works are key; and Jesus said: I have not found your works perfect before God. Rev 3:2-3. He wants perfect works, energized by faith. What Luther and the Protestant sects failed to understand is this:

See the Footnote to James 2:24 for more on works of faith vs. works of the law. As you read the letters from Jesus to the seven churches in this book of Revelation, you will see the emphasis on works of faith.]

 1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave to him, to show to his servants things which must shortly come to pass;1 and he sent and signified it by his angel to his servant John;

 2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.

 3 Blessed is he that reads, and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is at hand.

1 God gave this prophecy to John to show to his servants the things that would shortly come to pass. Paul, Jesus, Peter, James, and John, — all said, soon, the time is near, a little while, he stands at the door. Because the Lord's return occurred to those who had purified themselves in their hope and faith of his appearance in them; and it occurs now to those who prepare their hearts to receive him by purification. See The Second Appearance of Jesus is Within the Hearts of Purified Believers for the details.

The rapture is pure theory. A bunch of sinning people who call themselves Christians, are not going to be translated into heaven, polluting it with their lies, covetousness, lusts, anger, immorality, and impurities; the Bible clearly states (Eph 5:5-6,Gal 5:19-21,Mark 7:21-23, Heb 12:14) such people sinning have no inheritance in the Kingdom of Christ. God expelled the fallen angels from heaven; he expelled Adam from Eden, and so he will ban men who still sin from heaven. Corruption does not inherit incorruption.

The rapture is pure fiction, embraced by all the itching ears of Christendom, surrounding themselves with false teachers who tell them that while they are still sinning, living their selfish life as they choose, walking after the imaginations of their own heart, and not listening for the voice of the Lord, that they are righteous and favored by God. Yet, these people are destined to be destroyed, and their false preachers are destined to be abhorred by everyone and cursed by all nations; and blackest darkness is reserved for those promising freedom to those just beginning to escape from sin. 2 Pet 2:15-18, Jude 1:11-13. I will bring, upon them an everlasting reproach and perpetual shame that shall never be forgotten, Jer 23:40. The Lord will never join his body to sinners; former sinners, yes; but never to those who are still slaves to sin. And, anyone who still sins is a slave to sin. John 8:34, Rom 6:16. To understand how this myth was created by twisting the original meaning of the Meeting in the Air, see the footnote to 1 Thes 4:13-17.
