1sin no more for fear that something worse may happen to you. Everyone talks about how Jesus is so forgiving; true, but after forgiveness he says, sin no more!
To the adulteress: Neither do I condemn you. Go, and sin no more. John 8:11
To one healed: Behold, you are made whole; sin no more for fear that something worse may happen to you. John 5:14
The something worse that may happen to you is called Hell.
Christendom doesn't have a clue how to be freed from sin, and pretends it is impossible. Christendom has forgotten the only way — the inward cross of self-denial.
But Jesus said: Sin no more! and Repent or perish! [and lose you soul].
