34 I tell you, in that night there will be two men in one bed; one will be taken and the other will be left.
35 Two women will be grinding together; one will be taken and the other left. [The second coming and the day of the Lord are one in the same personal experience, which occurs for all men in every generation. For those who are crucified to spiritually die on the inward cross of self-denial, the second coming occurs as the Lord appears after the baptism of fire has burned all the remaining sin in them. Their body dies in this baptism of fire and death, but the believer is raised (resurrected) with Christ and translated into the kingdom of God. Though raised with Christ to live in the heavens, they still walk the earth as a new creature together, in union with the Lord. From the Word of the Lord within: "The second coming is a personal experience. The second coming is in the hearts of purified believers. You can live in heaven and still walk the earth." For those who physically die without having been purified on the inward cross and who are still slaves to sin, the appearance of the Lord when they physically die is a terror for they will suddenly see how hopelessly evil they are.]
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and take you to myself; so that where I am, there you may be also.1 [This applies to all his disciples, now and then; it refers to being translated into the Kingdom of Heaven, and to be raised with Christ to sit down in heavenly places in Christ while still alive on the earth. If any man wants to serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there my servant will also be. John 12:26. Your sight and consciousness are in heaven, but you are still on the earth serving the Lord. From the Word of the Lord within: "You can live in heaven and still walk the earth. I will come again to the elect; I will be a crown to lead and guide them." As George Fox ministered on the earth, he was translated to paradise; and then he lived in paradise.]
21 He who has my commands, and obeys them, it is he who loves me; and he who loves me shall be loved by my Father, and I will love him and will show myself to him."4 [Obey the commands you hear him speak to you from within your heart, and the words he speaks to you from within you heart impart the life of God, John 6:63; that life of God, Christ, grows within you, as his words are engrafted in your heart, until you become pure and see God in the face of Christ Jesus. Mat 5:8, 2 Cor 4:6.]
22 Then Judas, not Iscariot, said to him, "Lord, how is it that you will show yourself to us, and not to the world?" [This means that Jesus only appears for a second time to those disciples who have obeyed Him, to be purified, and who are waiting on His return in them. He appears in a man's heart; but he is hidden to the world. This applies to all true disciples, (2000 thousand years ago until now), who carry their inward cross of self-denial to crucify their lusts and affection.]
23 And Jesus answered and said to him, "If a man loves me, he will obey my spoken words; and my Father will love him, and we will come to him, and make our home with him5 [in his heart; and they live in a kingdom, into which you are translated. When you are translated into the kingdom, (while still alive on earth), you also see Him. Jesus appears in your heart. Jesus is revealed. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them, and be their God." Rev 21:3.]
28 So Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who persistently and patiently wait for him he will appear the second time, not to bear sin, but to bring full salvation.3 [Those who are persistently and patiently waiting on God, see Jesus appear in their hearts, and see Jesus bring their salvation, which is to be delivered (freed) from all sin. To wait on God is to persistently sit in humble silence, listen for his voice and words, watch for his revelations, hear his commands, and then obey Him; only those who heed and obey Him receive eternal salvation. Heb 5:9. But if we hope for what we do not yet see, then we wait for it [salvation] with patient endurance, Rom 8:25; we wait for salvation. From the Word of the Lord within: "You must wait on the Lord to receive salvation."]
2 But who can endure the day of his coming? And who can stand when he appears? For he is like a refiner's fire and like fullers' soap;
3 And he will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver, and he will purify the sons of Levi [priests], and refine them like gold and silver, so that they may offer to the LORD an offering in righteousness.
1 "For behold, the day comes that shall burn like an oven, and all the proud, yes, and all who do wickedly, will be stubble; the day that comes shall burn them up, says the LORD of hosts, so that it will leave them neither root nor branch.
2 But to you who fear my name, the Sun of righteousness shall arise with healing in his wings, and you shall go forth and leap and skip like calves released from the stall.
3 And you shall tread down the wicked, for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I do this, says the LORD of hosts.
|Matthew 5:8 |
8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. [Blessed are those whom the Holy Spirit cleanses to purity, for they will see the glory of God in the face of Christ Jesus appear in their hearts, in ever increasing glory. When he appears, we will be like him, for we will see him as he is. And every man who has this hope in him purifies himself, even as He [Jesus] is pure. 1 John 3:2-3. He appears not just to be seen, but He then guides you through the rest of your life with what to do and say; then you are working righteousness like He did. Unless you have a pure heart, you will not see God; without a heart purified while on earth, you will see God at your death, which will be a terrifying experience.]
