|1 Corinthians 6:9-10|
9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor passive male homosexual partners, nor dominant male homosexual partners, [From the word of the Lord within: "sexual desires can be overcome."]
10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor oppressive cheaters; these will not inherit the kingdom of God.1
19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are: sexual immorality (including adultery and fornication), impurity, lust, [The works of the flesh are sin, and the wages of sin are death. From the Word of the Lord within: "Consequence-free sin does not exist; the consequences are truly staggering. There is a war you must win: sin must be overcome; the fleshly lusts war against your soul."]
20 Idolatry (including covetousness), sorcery, hatred, arguments, jealousy, anger, ambition, divisiveness, factions, [From the Word of the Lord within: "Do not be misled; anger must be eliminated to enter the kingdom."]
21 Envy, drunkenness, revelry (partying), and the like; which I say beforehand, as I have said before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.4 [All men do works of the flesh because their hearts are defiled until they have been crucified on the inward cross of self-denial, and in no way shall there enter into heaven anything that is defiled. Rev 21:27]
3 But as becomes the saints, do not let sexual immorality, all uncleanness, or covetousness, be named among you even once.
5 For of this you can be sure, that no sexually immoral, or impure, or covetous person, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. [The peoples of the earth have ignored these perfectly clear behaviors, (sexual immorality, impurity, covetousness), that exclude any and all from the kingdom. From the Word of the Lord within: "Ephesians 5:5-6: This the void of the earth, made perfectly clear. Those who are immoral have no inheritance in God's kingdom." Paul just told us that covetousness is idolatry. So whatever we value or want without genuine need, we worship; and how one spends their free time defines their devotion. From the Word of the Lord within: "you must learn to hate everything you worship."]
6 Let no man deceive you with vain words. For because of such things God's wrath comes on those who are disobedient.1 [Paul warns you not to be deceived by anyone who tells you differently, (e.g., that your sexual immorality, impurity, and covetousness is excused by believing in Jesus), which is what the preachers of Christianity do; but even the demons believe in Jesus. It is only by waiting on the Lord to hear and obey his commands that one can become pure, free of sexual immorality, and free of covetousness. From the Word of the Lord within: "The way is clear: listen and obey."]
3 Among whom we also all had our conduct in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the thoughts of our mind; and were by nature the children of wrath and the object of His indignation, just as the rest of mankind.1 [Notice! All mankind walks in sinful lusts, according to the desires of their flesh and thoughts of their mind, which is under Satan's direction. However, Paul is speaking to crucified believers, who are no longer controlled by the lusts of their flesh; who no longer think their own thoughts, whose sinful nature has been destroyed, including its carnal mind, replaced by the mind of Christ.]

8 And a highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called 'The way of holiness.' The unclean shall not pass over it, but it shall be for the redeemed.2 The wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err in it and go astray. [And in no way shall there enter into it [heaven] anything that is defiled...Rev 21:27. From the Word of the Lord within: "Only those who want to be clean can hear. Ears must hear."]
1 "Awake, awake, put on your strength, O Zion; put on your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city. For from this time forward the uncircumcised and the unclean shall no more come into you.
|Romans 2:15 |
15 Who show the work of the law written in their hearts, and their conscience also bears witness; while their thoughts accuse or else excuse them.4 [This law is written on every man's heart. It makes us feel bad when we lie or steal. This law includes the external moral laws: do not steal, do not lie, do not covet, do not murder, do not commit adultery, (and all sexual immorality), honor your parents, do unto others as you would have them do to you, etc. Every man will be judged by God according to the inner law; no man is excused from this law for any reason, and it has never been annulled or cancelled. The law has dominion over a man as long as he lives, Rom 7:1; the inner law on the heart of every man, which includes moral core of the outward law, is our schoolmaster until we have crucified our sinful nature on the inward cross of self-denial. The inner law's moral laws exceed the external, Mosaic moral laws for as Jesus said, he came to fulfill the law; and then He told us how it was to be strengthened, which the inner law reflects. This strengthened inner law can be understood to have been violated anytime you exhibit a fruit of the flesh, which includes: sexual immorality, uncleanness, covetousness, filthiness, foolish talking, jesting, profanity, adultery, lack of restraint, sorcery, hatred, arguments, jealousies, rage, selfish ambition, divisiveness, envies, murders, drunkenness, revelries (partying), evil thoughts, fornications, wickedness, deceit, blasphemy, pride, anger, boasting, flattery, immodesty, immorality, and foolishness. Any of these disqualify all men from heaven. From the Word of the Lord within: "The law is in every man's heart, and it must be obeyed; the supreme law — never been cancelled. You cannot pass the moral commandments and be a Christian. You must have a devotion to the law that is on every man's heart; you must listen; and you must obey. Be on your guard at all times to be sure your words do not reflect the fruits of the flesh."]
