1 "Come, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters, and he who has no money, come, buy and eat; yes, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

3 Incline your ear, and come to me. Hear, and your soul shall live;2 and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies promised to David. [To come to Him, we go directly to Him, by sitting in humble silence as we wait on Him, listening for His voiced commands and teachings. From the Word of the Lord within: "We go to him, and he rains help on us; well does this exercise of God purify those who do. Come to me with the hope of speaking and acting righteously."]

Matthew 11:28-29

28 Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy burdened, and I will give you rest.2 [Come — not to sect services that claim He is in their building, not to prayer meetings, not to altar calls, not to read the Bible; Jesus even said that studying the scriptures is not coming to Him. John 5:39-40. We must go directly to Him, by sitting in humble silence as we wait on Him, listening for His voiced commands and teachings that require your changes in behavior. Come all of you who labor against sin, all who are heavy burdened with your sins, and He will destroy the sins in your heart; and then you will be at rest.]

29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am meek and lowly in heart, and [then] you will find rest for your souls.3 [Learn from Him directly speaking to you, not reading about Him, or listening to other people talk about Him. The rest is to cease from your own dead works to then be completely directed by the Lord in what to do and what to say. But Christianity is at rest from guilt of their continued sinning, licensed by their false, so-called grace; so, "Arise and depart, for this is not the rest. Because it is defiled, it shall destroy you, even with a grievous destruction." Mic 2:10.]

47 Whoever comes to me, and listens to my spoken words and does [practices, obeys] them, I will show you what he is like.7 [The words that I speak to you are Spirit, and they are life-giving, John 6:63; note, not words read from a book, but words spoken to you from Christ, the Word of God in your heart, to be heard and obeyed. Jesus said that studying the scriptures is not coming to Him. John 5:39-40. To come to Him is to sit in humble silence and wait on Him, as you listen and watch; when you hear Him speak, if you obey Him, you are following Jesus. "Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me..." Mat 11:29. This is the good part, the one thing that is needed: to sit at His feet and listen to His words that he speaks to us, Luke 10:39-42. "All your holy ones are in your power. And they sit at your feet, each receiving your words." Deu 33:3.]

48 He is like a man who built a house, and dug deep and laid the foundation securely built on a rock; and when the flood arose, the torrent beat violently upon that house, but could not shake it because it was founded on a rock. [The man who comes to Him, listens to His spoken words and then obeys what he hears, builds the temple of God, (Christ), in His heart; and when Christ is fully formed through persistence to the end, the day of the Lord comes while he is still alive on the earth, (which is a joyous occasion for the obedient), and his works of obedience survive the fire that all men must go through, which works are then forever to his credit, reputation, and reward.]

49 But the person who hears and does not put my words into practice is like a man who built a house upon the ground without a foundation; against which the torrent struck violently, and immediately it collapsed; and the ruin of that house was great." [But those who hear His anonymous words and fail to obey, for them the day of the Lord at their death, (which comes on all men), is a horrible, frightening experience; all their life's works are burnt up in the fire that all men must go through. The anonymous words of truth they heard, pleading to depart from evil, but which they failed to obey, will judge them in the last day, John 12:48. Because of their disobedience, their earthly life was spent in no benefit to them, and their many shameful acts are their eternal regret. From the Word of the Lord within: "I am the terror to most people. Everyone will be known by what they have done and said."]

John 5:39-40

39 You search the scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and they are those that testify of me. [From the Word of the Lord within: "He is not telling them to repeat what they are doing," but Christendom today incorrectly looks to find salvation searching the Bible's scriptures, thinking that if they believe some few verses, ignoring all the rest, they have eternal life of God; but the scriptures only point to, and testify about, Jesus. The only assurance of eternal life is to experience Jesus bring eternal life to you. You must hate your life, and you must lose your fleshly life to gain the eternal life of God, which is the full possession of Christ that rules your heart, supplying your thoughts, words, and deeds.]

40 But you will not come to me, so that you might have life.6 [Jesus has just told us in this and the above verse that studying the Bible is not coming to Him so that you might have eternal life. Come — not to sect services, not to prayer meetings, not to the Bible, not to altar calls — but come directly to him, by sitting and waiting on him in humble silence, to watch, to listen, and hear His words he speaks to you that impart the of life of God to you as His words are engrafted into your heart. John 6:63, James 1:21. Each word you hear Him speak to you increases the life of God in you; each word you hear Him speak to you purifies you a little more. With sufficient measure of His spoken words heard from within your heart, He is formed in you so that you see Him and experience Him bringing your salvation and eternal life. From the Word of the Lord within: "Obedience leads to restoration of life."]

37 All whom the Father gives me shall come to me; and he who comes to me I will never cast out. [Come — not to sect services, not to prayer meetings, not read the Bible, not to altar calls — but come directly to him, by waiting on Him in humble silence as you listen for his voiced commands and teachings.]

35 And Jesus said to them, "I am the Bread of Life. He who comes to me shall never hunger; and he who believes in me shall never thirst. [Jesus is the bread of life: the life of God, the Holy Spirit, the anointing. His words that you hear him speak to you impart the life of God to your heart. To acquire more of the Holy Spirit, more truth, more life, more of Jesus, you must sit in humble silence, wait on Him, listen, hear, and obey. It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life-giving. John 6:63. Come— not to sect services, not to prayer meetings, not to altar calls, and not Bible study; Jesus even said that studying the scriptures is not coming to Him. John 5:39-40. We must come directly to him, by sitting in humble silence as we wait on Him, listening for his voiced commands and teachings. To believe in Jesus is to believe what you hear him speak to you and then to obey it.]
