38 Pray therefore to the Lord of the harvest, that he will send2 forth laborers into his harvest." [Notice, the Lord is supposed to send his ministers and evangelists, after they have been taught and perfected, after they have been restored, after they have been authorized.]
15 And how will they preach, unless they are sent?4 As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!"
18 He who speaks from himself [speaking his own words] seeks his own glory;1 but he who seeks the glory of the One who sent him, that man is true, and there is no unrighteousness in him. [If you are not specifically sent, and if you are deciding with your brain what to say, you are speaking from yourself and seeking your own glory. To be seeking God's glory and not your own, you must first be sent and then only speak words heard from the Spirit immediately before speaking. Jesus only spoke words, judged, and performed works as He was ordered by God. If you are speaking and/or working for God without being specifically ordered in each and every word and action, you are essentially claiming that your own words and deeds are superior to what Jesus' would be if he made his own decisions about what to say and do.]
6 Then Jesus said to them, "My time [to go there] has not yet come; but any time is acceptable to you; your time is always right. [Jesus said he only did what he was shown and told to do by the Father. Since the Father had not yet told Jesus to go to the Feast, he did not go; but since his brothers walked as they pleased, anytime was acceptable to them because his brothers still walked according to their carnal minds and evil imaginations.]
8 Go up to the Feast yourselves. I do not go up to the Feast yet, for my time [to go] has not yet come."
4 And Jesus said to her, "Dear woman, what is that to us? My time has not yet come."1
21 I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran [ahead of me]. I have not spoken to them, yet they have prophesied. [Only follow; do not run ahead of the Lord's leading you exactly where to go and what to do and say. From the Word of the Lord within: " I was surely sent; as I was sent, so too must you be. Master following. You do as God has directed and only that; we do as He tells us. Everyone hear what the Spirit says; this you do." George Fox described those who run ahead : "Those who run before their guide are vagabonds and wanderers."]
22 But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.
|Jeremiah 14:14 |
14 Then the LORD said to me, "The prophets prophesy lies in my name. I did not send them, neither have I commanded them, nor spoken to them.1 They prophesy to you a false vision and divination, worthless from the deceit of their heart.
