44 Now while Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell on all of those who heard the word.4 [Notice! Peter's words that he spoke was "the word" they heard. Peter spoke the Word of God, the word from within his heart; words supplied by the Spirit of Christ that gave Peter the words to speak. Thus it was Christ speaking through Peter, and because of that, the Holy Spirit fell on his listeners.]

31 And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they began to speak the word of God openly. [Them speaking the Word of God would hardly be worthy of reporting if they were simply reading or repeating scripture; these people were speaking the word from God's mouth that He had put in their mouths to speak.]

2 Corinthians 2:17

17 For we are not like so many, who peddle the word of God for profit; but we are speaking in Christ in the presence of God as persons of sincerity, as persons sent from God.2 [From the Word of the Lord within: "The gregarious make a living teaching the scriptures. We stand in the presence of God speaking forth His words as commanded." Unless you are sent to specific person(s), and unless you then only speak words as commanded, you are seeking your own glory: He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but he who seeks the glory of the One who sent him, that man is true, and there is no unrighteousness in him. John 7:18 ]

19 Do you suppose that we have been defending ourselves to you? We speak before God in Christ;1 we do all things, dearly beloved, for your edifying.

13 Which things we speak, not in the words, which man's wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Spirit instructs;4 combining spiritual truths with spiritual words. [Regarding speaking words from the Holy Spirit: Jesus said: "whatever I speak is just as the Father has told me to speak. He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory, but he who seeks the glory of the one who sent him, that man is true, and there is no unrighteousness in him." John 12:50,7:18.]

11 If any man speaks, [let it be] as God's oracles [words]; if any man ministers,[ let him do it] with the strength that God gives,3 so that God may be glorified in all things through Jesus Christ, to whom is the glory and power forever and ever. Amen. [Oracle — a message from the gods given by an oracle. From the Word of the Lord within: "A word spoken from the Spirit requires you to hear what the Spirit says to you. All and only words from Him are to be spoken." Jesus said: "whatever I speak is just as the Father has told me to speak. He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory, but he who seeks the glory of the one who sent him, that man is true, and there is no unrighteousness in him." John 12:50,7:18.]

18 He who speaks from himself [speaking his own words] seeks his own glory;1 but he who seeks the glory of the One who sent him, that man is true, and there is no unrighteousness in him. [If you are not specifically sent, and if you are deciding with your brain what to say, you are speaking from yourself and seeking your own glory. To be seeking God's glory and not your own, you must first be sent and then only speak words heard from the Spirit immediately before speaking. Jesus only spoke words, judged, and performed works as He was ordered by God. If you are speaking and/or working for God without being specifically ordered in each and every word and action, you are essentially claiming that your own words and deeds are superior to what Jesus' would be if he made his own decisions about what to say and do.]

49 For I do not speak from myself, but the Father, who sent me, himself commands me what I should say and what I should speak.

8 But what did it say? "The word is near you, even in your mouth, and in your heart [so you may hear and obey it];" that is, the word of faith, which we preach.1 [This quotes Deu 30:14, "But the word is very near to you, in your mouth, and in your heart, so that you may obey it." The Apostles preached that the Lord speaks with words from within your heart, to be heard, believed, and then obeyed in faith; thus the word of faith. The Apostles preached that faith comes by hearing the word in your heart, Rom 10:17. Whoever comes to Him to listen to His spoken words, (from within your heart), and then obeys them, builds their faith on solid rock. Luke 6:47. You come to Him by sitting in humble silence, waiting on Him, as you listen for His spoken words and watch for His revelations.]

19 And pray for me, that utterance [of the word of God] may be given [by the Spirit] to me when I begin to speak3 — to confidently make known the mystery of the gospel, [For the Holy Spirit will teach you at that moment what to say. Luke 12:12.]

21 For prophecy in old times did not come by the will of man; but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit, [and so the prophetic word that you hear also comes from the Holy Spirit],
