- And it shall come to pass in the last days, said God, that I will pour out my Spirit upon all men. Acts 2:14-18.
- The grace of God, which brings salvation, has appeared to all men. Tit 2:11.
(Grace has appeared to all men, but each man must choose to respond to the grace to receive salvation.) - This man came as a witness, to bear witness to the Light, so that all men might believe in it [the Light, Christ].
He was not the Light, but was sent to bear witness of the Light.
Which is the true Light that enlightens every man who comes into the world. John 1:7-9
(The light of the word, which word of God is Jesus, is given to every man who comes into the world so that they might believe the truth, which the light anonymously pleads with every man to turn from his evil ways.)
Every man is given a measure of Spirit, not only for his benefit, but also for him to share his learnings and his love with other members of the body. Notice, how Paul also says that in a true worship and fellowship, all mature Christians should speak, with words supplied by the Holy Sprit, not just one man: Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing [by the words of Christ dwelling within your heart] one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. Col 3:16. In this way, every man benefits the body with the Spirit given to him.
