|1 Peter 2:3-5|
3 If indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious.
4 Coming to him the Living Stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God, and precious,
5 You also, as living stones, are built up as a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
|Revelation 21:1-10 |
1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth. For the first heaven and the first earth had passed away; and there was no more sea.1
2 And I, John, saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared like a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them, and be their God. [A tabernacle is the residence or home of God, which is in the hearts of men. 9 Then one of the seven angels came to me who had the seven bowls [vials] full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, "Come, I will show you the bride, the Lamb's wife."
10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me that great city, the holy city, Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,
