|1 John 4:9-10,1:6-7|
9 This is how the love of God was shown to us: by God sending his only begotten Son into the world, so that we might live through him.
10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation [atoning sacrifice] for our sins.
6 If we say that we have fellowship with him and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not [live in] the truth. [To walk in darkness is to walk still sinning. From the Word of the Lord within: "Walking in the light is to be guided through life by God; walking in darkness is making your own decisions as to what to do and say. Unless the Lord guides you, you have no chance."]
7 But if we walk in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship [in the Spirit] with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin.3 [Today, (09/10/21), no one on earth walks in the light as He is in the light. To walk in the light is to be guided by God, (who is light), in everything to say and to do. All men sit in darkness and walk in darkness until the light arises in their hearts. However, if you're not walking in the light as He is in the light, his blood does nothing to rid you of your sins. From the Word of the Lord within: "Light comes from faith in the voice. Jesus did not die so you can continue to sin."]
|John 1:29 |
29 The next day John saw Jesus coming to him, and said, "Look, there is the Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world.
