2 Corinthians 4:6

Display Chapter and Footnotes

6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, has shined in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.1 [Jesus appears, He is seen, He is revealed, in the purified hearts of believers. In Matthew, Mark, and Luke, Jesus is recorded saying that some then standing with him, 2000 years ago, would see his glorious coming in the clouds with the Kingdom before they died. In addition Paul, Jesus preaching, Jesus in Revelation, Peter, James, and John, — all said his appearance was: soon, the time is near, a little while, He stands at the door. It would be a cruel hoax to be waiting on Him to appear if the past 100 generations of believers actually had no hope of ever seeing Him.]

Matthew 5:8

8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. [Blessed are those whom the Holy Spirit cleanses to purity, for they will see the glory of God in the face of Christ Jesus appear in their hearts, in ever increasing glory. When he is revealed, we will be like him, for we will see him as he is. And every man who has this hope in him purifies himself, even as He [Jesus] is pure. 1 John 3:2-3. He is revealed not just to be seen, but He then guides you through the rest of your life with what to do and say; then you are working righteousness like He did. Unless you have a pure heart, you will not see God; without a heart purified while on earth, you will see the Lord at your death, which will be a terrifying experience.]

John 17:24

24 Father, I will that they also, whom you have given me, be with me where I am;5 that they may behold my glory, which you have given me. For you loved me before the foundation of the world. [This applies to all his disciples, now and then. It refers to being translated into the Kingdom of Heaven, and to be raised with Christ to sit down in heavenly places in Christ; yet they are not taken out of the world (verse 15 above), physically; their consciousness and sight are in the peace of Heaven, viewing the earth from afar, (an immense spiritual gulf), through the eyes of God. If any man wants to serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there my servant will also be. John 12:26. From the Word of the Lord within: "You can live in heaven and still walk the earth. I will come again to the elect; I will be a crown to lead and guide them." As George Fox ministered on the earth, he was translated to paradise; and then he lived in paradise.]

2 Corinthians 3:18

18 And all of us, as with an unveiled face, behold as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, and are changed into the same image from glory to glory, by the Spirit of the Lord.4

Colossians 3:4

4 when Christ, who is our life, appears, then you will also appear with him in glory.3 [2000 years ago in the Book of Revelation Jesus told the church in Thyatira "hold fast until I come!" Jesus does not deceive people, and the people He addressed are long gone from this earth. For his statement to be true, He had to have come to them thousands of years ago. He comes to every man in all generations who has worked hard to follow His spoken commands to them. The return of Jesus is a personal experience in the hearts of purified believers; He is seen, He appears, He is revealed. From the Word of the Lord within: "I will come again to the elect; I will be their crown to lead and guide them."]
