|2 Samuel 2:6|
6 And now the LORD shows kindness and truth to you; and I also will repay you for this kindness because you have done this thing.
10 All the paths of the LORD are love and truth to those who keep his covenant and his testimonies.
9 "What profit is there in my destruction, if I go down to the pit? Will the dust praise you? Will it declare your truth?
5 Into your hand I commit my spirit; you have redeemed me, O LORD God of truth.
10 I have not hidden your righteousness within my heart; I have proclaimed your faithfulness and your salvation. I have not concealed your loving kindness and your truth from the great assembly.
5 He shall reward evil to my enemies. Cut them off in your faithfulness and truth.
10 For your mercy is great, reaching to the heavens, and your truth to the clouds.
7 He shall abide before God forever; O prepare mercy and truth which will preserve him.
10 Mercy and truth have met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.
11 Truth shall spring out of the earth, and righteousness shall look down from heaven.
11 Teach me your way, O LORD, and I will walk in your truth; unite with my heart to fear your name.
15 But you, O Lord, are a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and generous in mercy and truth.
49 Lord, where are your former loving kindnesses, which you swore to David in your truth?
22 Do they not err who devise evil? But mercy and truth shall be to those who devise good.
6 By mercy and truth iniquity [sin] is purged [from the heart], and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil. [What truth purges evil to make you free of sin?—the word of truth that you hear spoken to you by the Lord. If you continue in my word, you are true disciples; and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. John 8:31-32. In what word are you to continue or abide and obey?—the word that is within your heart to hear and obey, Rom 10:8, Deu 30:11-15. The beginning of the fear of God is to depart from evil.]
28 Mercy and truth preserve4 the king, and his throne is upheld by mercy.
21 To know the truth of the words of truth, so to answer truth if you are sent [to speak to others]?
|Isaiah 38:3,18-19,59:14 |
3 And said, "Remember now, O LORD, I beseech you, how I have walked before you in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in your sight." And Hezekiah wept sorely.
18 For the grave cannot praise you, death cannot celebrate you; those who go down into the pit cannot hope for your truth.
19 The living, the living, he shall praise you, as I do this day; the father shall make known your truth to the children.
14 And justice is turned away backward, and righteousness stands far off; for truth has fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter.
