|2 Timothy 4 |
1 Therefore I charge you before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom:
2 Preach the word. Be prepared in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
3 For the time will come when men will not endure sound doctrine, but they will heap [accumulate in piles] to themselves teachers after their own lusts, who will say what their itching ears want to hear; [In Christianity today there are millions of blind-guide preachers and blind-guide teachers in the ditch, along with their billions of captive followers, whom they have led into the ditch; the blind guides' lies have been preached by so many for so long, their lies have become pervasive in all of Christianity. From the Word of the Lord within: "Just like Judaism was taken over by the enemy, so has Christianity, which is corrupt through and through. There is no church in the world that Christ set up specifically. Like Daniel, you are captive of the Chaldeans. Your place of worship is filled with unclean birds." (Unclean birds are fallen, corrupted angels — demons.)]
4 And they will turn their ears away from the truth, and will be turned to fables.1 [The whole world has been turned to the fables of make-believe Christianity, the Whore of Babylon, riding the beast of many names, with horns like a lamb; believing the fable of consequence-free sin through the transfer of the meaning of grace from the truth: that with repentance the Spirit of God commands us to deny lusts and ungodliness, as it purifies us to live a soberly, godly life in this present world —transferred instead to the twisted fable that grace excuses all past, present, and future sins in believers, thereby excusing believers to live in their lusts and pride as they please with no laws; which was predicted here and in Revelation. From the Word of the Lord within: "They have taken the Bible and made it an unholy thing used to justify their immersion in sin. The enemy is in all of Christianity. Everyone is expecting Jesus to be their excuse. Christianity has no idea what I am or for what I stand. People must stand the price for their very brazen behavior. All men are without excuse. If I were silent, they would have an excuse; every man has heard the call to repent. Do you agree with any who in their arrogance have stated that God excuses evil in believers? It's not fair, but they don't care."]
5 But watch in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fully perform the work of your ministry.
6 For I am now ready to be sacrificed, and the time of my departure is at hand.
7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.
8 Now there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give me at that day; and not to me only, but to all those who love his appearing.
9 Do your best to come to me shortly;
10 For Demas has forsaken me, having loved this present world, and has departed to Thessalonica. Crescens has gone to Galatia, and Titus to Dalmatia.
11 Only Luke is with me. Get Mark and bring him with you, for he is helpful to me in the ministry.
12 I have sent Tychicus to Ephesus.
13 When you come, bring the cloak with you that I left at Troas with Carpus; also the books, especially the parchments.
14 Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil. The Lord will repay him according to his works;
15 Beware of him yourself, for he has greatly opposed our words.
16 At my first defense, no man stood with me, but all men forsook me. I pray God that it may not be laid to their charge.
17 Nevertheless the Lord stood with me and strengthened me; so that through me the message might be fully known, so that all the Gentiles might hear. And I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.
18 And the Lord will deliver me from every evil attack and will preserve me to his heavenly kingdom, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
19 Salute Prisca and Aquila, and the household of Onesiphorus.
20 Erastus stayed at Corinth, but I have left Trophimus sick at Miletum.
21 Do your best to come before winter. Eubulus greets you, and Pudens, Linus, Claudia, and all the brothers.
22 The Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Grace be with you. Amen.
1 the time will come when men will not endure sound doctrine, but they will heap [accumulate in piles] to themselves teachers after their own lusts, who will say what their itching ears want to hear; they will turn their ears away from the truth, and will be turned to fables. Paul is prophesying exactly what was beginning to happen in his time, as all the Apostles documented, people were being misled by teachers preaching fables. People have always been susceptible to the false hope that they can somehow please God while still living their life as they please in their lusts and pride. This is exactly what Christianity offers today: the fable of just saying you believe in Jesus, get baptized, and you are free from the fury of God for continuing to live in sin. It is a fable, and it denies the Bible's many clearly stated exclusions, many requirements, and qualifying conditions of salvation. As predicted there are millions of teachers and preachers in the world, heaped up in piles, teaching lies in hypocrisy, their consciences seared as though by a hot iron; they speak in hypocrisy because with their lips they honor God, while their hearts are still full of evil and far removed from God. Mark 7:6. Outwardly they appear righteous to men, but on the inside they are full of hypocrisy and iniquity [sin]. Mat 23:28.
Christianity has transferred the meaning of grace to be an excuse or license for sin, rather than the Spirit teaching of godly living with a destruction of sin; and so all of Christianity is Babylon, which the whole world follows, just as the Bible predicted. Christianity has gutted almost every warning of Jesus and the Apostles; but worse they have destroyed the knowledge of the greatest gift to man imaginable — with their lies, they have destroyed God's promise of being taught all truth and things by him, of destruction of sin, being protected from being able to sin, union with God and Christ, translation to the Kingdom of Heaven while on earth, and to enter the rest from their own thoughts, words, and works, raised with Christ to be an entirely new creature, sitting down with Christ in the heavens, being led by God in thought, word, and deed; so that every word and action is perfect and virtuous because it is directed by God. God promises to give us himself: perfect and infinite love, mercy, peace, joy, wisdom, and righteousness.
All of these wonderful promises have been darkened by the false fables of Christianity, made up to justify man continuing to live in his lusts and sin; which is a way that seems right to a man, but ends in destruction — the broad easy way.
