⁴ This is that which was spoken of by the prophet Joel: it shall come to pass in the last days... The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and awesome day of the Lord comes. The day of the Lord came for Peter and the 120 disciples on Pentecost. The last days began with the resurrection of Jesus. The end of the world and the end times prophecies were fulfilled for the 120 disciples on Pentecost. The end of the world and the end times prophecies are an individual experience for the purified — washed — cleansed believer. From the Word of the Lord within: "We are now in the seventh day of the Lord's Kingdom."

Christianity thinks that the end time is yet to occur, yet Peter in this verse has stated that the last days began at Pentecost; and John also spoke of the last days and last time being then in his letter: "Little children, it is the last time; and as you have heard that antichrist will come, even now many antichrists have come. By this we know that it is the last time." 1 John 2:18. The end of the world and the end times prophecies are an individual experience for the purified — washed — cleansed believer; and all that happens by bearing the cross daily, and dying daily; there is no other way to salvation.
