2 They wept greatly and fell on Paul's neck kissing him. This is the love of true disciples of Christ. For Christ said: I have declared to them your name, and will declare it, so that the love with which you have loved me may be in them, and I in them. John 17:26. And: I give you a new commandment, that you love one another; and that you love one another as I have loved you. By this all men shall know that you are My disciples, if you have love for each other. John 13:34-35. Now ask yourself, have you ever witnessed such love that disciples would weep and fall on a leader of Christendom's neck, kissing him? And if you have not, then the love of God has not been perfected in Christedom's leaders, which Christ's true disciples do know and enjoy: But whoever keeps his word [obeys his spoken commands to them], truly the love of God is perfected in him; by this we know that we are in him. 1 John 2:5. Notice, this is to be "in Christ" — to have the love of God perfected in yourself. So many people in Christendom claim to be "in Christ" but have no idea what they are claiming in error. If we love one another, God dwells in us, and his love is perfected in us. 1 John 4:12.
