10 And have [purposed to] put on the new man, who is renewed in knowledge after the image of him who created him, [To put on the new man is to have put off the old man with the body of sins and be renewed into the spiritual image of God, which man lost when Adam fell in disobedience to God. From the Word of the Lord within: "You are raised to a new life, not just an imitation; He is one with us and ever-present."]
11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free, but Christ is all and in all.
12 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on feelings of mercy, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, and longsuffering.
