6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision, nor uncircumcision empowers a thing, but faith owing to love operates with power. [What faith owing to love?—faith is to hear the word of God spoken to you and to then obey because you love God; to obey God is to love God. When you obey what God orders you to do, you get power from Him to do it. Loving works of obedience to God's commands is faith operating with power from God; so Paul agrees with James, who wrote, "faith without works is dead," James 2:20-24. John wrote, "he who practices truth comes to the light, so that his deeds may be shown to have been produced [formed and powered] through God," John 3:21; such works are the only works that survive passing through the fire, which every man must go through. The first works of love for God are: a) to wait in humble silence as you listen and watch for His commands, and b) then to obey His spoken commands that you hear to repent from the sins He reveals in your heart. From the Word of the Lord within: "What is the evidence of your belief? — operational faith. Faith is to hear the Word of God and obey. If you love me, you will obey me. He who does not love me does not obey my commands."]
8 But what did it say? "The word is near you, even in your mouth, and in your heart [so you may hear and obey it];" that is, the word of faith, which we preach.1 [This quotes Deu 30:14, "But the word is very near to you, in your mouth, and in your heart, so that you may obey it." The Apostles preached that the Lord speaks with words from within your heart, to be heard, believed, and then obeyed in faith; thus the word of faith. The Apostles preached that faith comes by hearing the word in your heart, Rom 10:17. Whoever comes to Him to listen to His spoken words, (from within your heart), and then obeys them, builds their faith on solid rock. Luke 6:47. You come to Him by sitting in humble silence, waiting on Him, as you listen for His spoken words and watch for His revelations.]

3 And by this we know that we know him: if we keep [obey] his commands. [The commands we hear as He speaks to us from within our heart; that is the word of faith that the Apostles preached.]
2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep his commands.
3 For this is the love of God, that we keep [obey] his commands; and his commands are not burdensome. [To keep his commands is to fulfill the law, walking in the light as children of light, in loving obedience to the total control of the Lord's Word and Light in your heart, (who is the Spirit of Christ), which Word and Light control and supply your thoughts, words, and deeds. Jesus said, "Truly, truly, I say to you; the Son can do nothing of himself [by his own will], but only does what he sees the Father do. For whatever things he [the Father] does, these are also likewise done by the Son." John 5:19. Jesus did nothing in his will, only by the Father's will; this is what it means when you pray: thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. All true sons do nothing of themselves, only what they are commanded to say and commanded what to do; as Paul confirmed: "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God." Rom 8:14. We have to learn from Him and be changed by Him to be able to only do the Father's will on earth, the same as the Father's will is done in heaven by the angels.]
15 If you love me, you will obey my commands. [Obey the commands you hear Him speak to you from within your heart; the words He speaks to you from within you heart impart the life of God. John 6:63. To hear Him, you must wait, listen, and watch; then obey what He commands you to do — if you love Him.]
23 And Jesus answered and said to him, "If a man loves me, he will obey my spoken words; and my Father will love him, and we will come to him, and make our home with him5 [in his heart; and they live in a kingdom, into which you are translated. When you are translated into the kingdom, (while still alive on earth), you also see Him. Jesus appears in your heart. Jesus is revealed. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them, and be their God." Rev 21:3.]
24 He who doesn't love me, does not obey my spoken words; and the spoken words that you hear are not mine, but are the Father's who sent me.
10 If you keep my commands [the commands you hear him speak to you from within your heart], you shall abide in my love;3 even as I have kept my Father's commands [that Jesus heard spoken to him], and abide in his love.
14 You are my friends, if you do whatever I command you.
48 He who rejects me and does not receive my words, has one for his judge — the words that I have spoken [to him] will judge him in the last day.7 [He knocks in every man's heart; he quietly pleads anonymously for us to depart from our evil, selfish ways. If we do not keep [practice, obey] his words, when we die, (the last day), we will remember the words of him pleading with us to depart from evil, and those words will judge us. From the Word of the Lord within: "All men are without excuse; if I were silent, they would have an excuse. Every man has heard the call to repent."]
|Revelation 3:3 |
3 Remember therefore what you have received and heard, and hold fast, and repent.2 If you do not wake up and watch, I will come upon you like a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you.
