From the Word of the Lord within: "Christ is actually resurrected in every person that comes to Him and obeys Him repetitively. With persistent and faithful obedience, you too will be raised. You have not experienced grace until you have been raised with Him." This verse is universally translated as "you have been risen," (past tense), because the verse is in the Aorist prophetic tense, (explained in Colossians 1:1), a Greek prophetic tense of verbs used to describe a certain future event as having already occurred, which events are typically translated in other languages to a simple past tense. |
