By grace through inward faith the Spirit charges us to deny ungodliness and lusts, teaching us how to live righteously and godly in this world. As we obey, grace then removes the sins from our heart. From the Word of the Lord within: "If you are still sinning, you belong to sin and not to Me."] | Jude 1:21 21 Keeping yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring eternal life.6 [You are to experience and see Jesus to bring eternal life, just as Jesus brings your salvation. Neither salvation or eternal life occurs without first destruction of the sinful nature on the inward cross of self-denial, through persistent and patient waiting on God in humble silence, listening, watching, and obeying Him, which obedience is evidence of belief.
