3 Incline your ear, and come to me. Hear, and your soul shall live;2 and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies promised to David. [To come to Him, we go directly to Him, by sitting in humble silence as we wait on Him, listening for His voiced commands and teachings. From the Word of the Lord within: "We go to him, and he rains help on us; well does this exercise of God purify those who do. Come to me with the hope of speaking and acting righteously."]
4 Behold, I have given him [Jesus] for a witness to the people, a leader and commander for the people.
5 Behold, you shall call a nation that you do not know, and nations that did not know you shall run to you because of the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, for he has glorified you.
6 Seek the LORD while he may be found, call upon him while he is near.
40 And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, which I will not turn away from them to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, so that they shall not depart from me.
41 Yes, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart and with my whole soul."
|Ezekiel 37:26-27 |
26 Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them, and I will establish them and multiply them and set my sanctuary in the midst of them forevermore.
27 My tabernacle shall also be with them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
