22 Then Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, who was over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and Joah the son of Asaph, the recorder, came to Hezekiah with their clothes rent [torn], and told him the words of Rabshakeh.
1 And it came to pass that when king Hezekiah heard it, he rent his clothes, covered himself with sackcloth, and went into the house of the LORD.
6 I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to those who plucked off the hair; I did not hide my face from shame and spitting.1
