Isaiah 30:20-21

 20 Although the Lord gives you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet your Teacher will no longer be hidden, but your eyes shall see your Teacher;4 [When you have been purified through obedience and suffering in tribulation, you see God; you see the glory of God in the face of Christ Jesus.]

 21 And your ears will hear a word from [you] following after, to say, "This is the way, walk in it," whether you are to go to the right or go to the left. [When you see your Teacher, He will then guide you with words to be spoken and works to be performed to His glory and your supreme joy.]

4 Although the Lord gives you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet your teacher will not be removed into a corner anymore, but your eyes shall see your teacher; Yes, you will suffer at the hand of the Lord; unless you are scourged by the Lord, you cannot be accepted as a son. For the suffering is the way you become pure and acceptable company to the Lord. And when you are pure, you will see the Lord, your Teacher.
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. Mat 5:8.
Without a pure heart, you are now, and will be, banned from heaven.
He appears to the purified heart of a believer — he is seen. This is his second appearance - this time to the purified in heart.
For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, has shined in our hearts
to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 2 Cor 4:6.

Christ is revealed in your heart; you see, and have knowledge of, the glory of God.
The morning star rises in your hearts. 2 Pet 1:19.

Jesus is resurrected in us
to be our true Lord. 2 Cor 4:14, Col 2:12,3:1, Eph 2:6

Paul said Jesus was resurrected in him: I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.
So, seek his face, and keep on seeking until he appears.
