|Isaiah 55 |
1 "Come, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters, and he who has no money, come, buy and eat; yes, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
2 Why do you spend money for that which is not bread? And your hard-earned money for that which does not satisfy? Listen diligently to me, and eat that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in abundance.1 [Note! To listen is to eat the bread of life, who is Jesus; his words that he speaks to you impart the life of God.]
3 Incline your ear, and come to me. Hear, and your soul shall live;2 and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies promised to David. [To come to Him, we go directly to Him, by sitting in humble silence as we wait on Him, listening for His voiced commands and teachings. From the Word of the Lord within: "We go to him, and he rains help on us; well does this exercise of God purify those who do. Come to me with the hope of speaking and acting righteously."]
4 Behold, I have given him [Jesus] for a witness to the people, a leader and commander for the people.
5 Behold, you shall call a nation that you do not know, and nations that did not know you shall run to you because of the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, for he has glorified you.
6 Seek the LORD while he may be found, call upon him while he is near.
7 Let the ungodly forsake his way, and the unrighteous man [forsake] his thoughts; let him return to the LORD, and he will have mercy on him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. [Everyone is ungodly and unrighteous until the Spirit has destroyed their sinful nature on the inward cross of self-denial, which destroys the selfish, vain, carnal mind with its thoughts. The basic operation of grace is teaching us to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts, and how to live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world. Tit 2:11-12.]
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," says the LORD.
9 "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
10 For as the rain and the snow come down from the heavens, and do not return there, but water the earth and make it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater,
11 So shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth. It shall not return to me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
12 For you shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace; the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
13 Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree; and it shall be to the LORD for a name of renown, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off."

1 Come all who hunger and thirst for righteousness; the Lord's deliverance is without charge. Why do you pay your preachers to read you the dead letter of the Bible, who speak from their own evil imaginations and words from the nature of death with their carnal minds, which are enmity with God? Come and obtain real bread from the Spirit that gives life. Stop toiling and doing and producing for the food that perishes and decomposes, but strive and work and produce rather for the food which endures unto life eternal; the Son of Man will give (furnish) you that, for God the Father has authorized and certified Him and put His seal of endorsement upon Him. To acquire more of the Holy Spirit, more truth, more life, more of Jesus, you must get quiet, wait on Him, listen, hear, and obey. It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life-giving. John 6:63. To buy bread, means to acquire the bread of life, what gives life, the Spirit of Christ: I am the Bread of Life. He who comes to me shall never hunger; and he who believes on me shall never thirst, John 6:35; this is the Bread that came down from heaven, so that a man may eat of it, and not die. John 6:50.
Look at the next verse(3) : Incline your ear, and come to me. Hear [and obey], and your soul shall live.
In Revelation 13:17, those without the mark of the beast could not buy or sell. In the Middle Ages (800 to 1500 AD), anyone who had not gone to Catholic mass and taken the Eucharist in the last 90 days was killed in the Inquisition; 9,000,000 million souls were tortured to death. They could not acquire, (buy or sell), more of the Holy Spirit, or worship God in any way other than the Catholic way — and those who saw the evil of that horrible system were murdered. If you read the full link, you will see where the Catholics' ruthless methods of finding heretics makes the Nazi Gestapo look like amateurs.
From the Word of the Lord within:
"It might be seen that any man who was out of compliance or
conformance with the Catholic church was killed."
2 The way to salvation: incline your ear, and come to me. Hear, [and obey] and your soul shall live. But heed you literalists, who take single verses out of context to convince yourself you are saved: do not think you can just hear and obey once! You must persistently come, listen, hear, and obey until you witness and see Jesus bringing your salvation. To acquire more of the Holy Spirit, more truth, more life, more of Jesus, you must get quiet, wait on Him, listen, hear, and obey. It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life-giving. John 6:63. Blessed is the man who hears me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. Proverbs 8:34. You must persevere to the end: he who perseveres and endures to the end will be saved. Mat 10:22. What end?
Therefore be resolute of mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; 1 Peter 1:13. So grace is brought to you at the end, the revealing of Christ within a man...but he who perseveres and endures to the end will be saved. Mat 10:22 . (The end is Christ's appearance in you, which is the end of grace's bringing salvation to you.)
For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, Tit 2:11.
He will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him. Heb 9:28.
