33 "But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel. After those days," says the Lord, "I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
7 And I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the LORD; and they shall be my people, and I will be their God for they shall return to me with their whole heart.
19 And I will give them one heart and I will put a new spirit within them; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them a heart of flesh,
31 Cast away from you all your transgressions, by which you have transgressed; and get a new heart, a new mind, and a new spirit. For why will you die1, O house of Israel?
26 I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you, and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.1 [The stony heart symbolizes the stubborn, evil heart in all men; the fleshly heart symbolizes the heart that is submissive and obedient to God.]
|2 Corinthians 10:4-6|
4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds,
5 Casting down all our own decisions, and every barrier that is raised up against the wisdom from God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;1 [in order to not do your will, but do the will of God, as you are ordered by the Spirit, the Word of God you hear in your heart. From the Word of the Lord within: "It is many thoughts that make the mortal man. At best your thoughts are a vain hiss. All thoughts must be rejected. There is a blessing to make the cessation of the mind permanent. Grow up into the mind of Christ, from which all good thoughts proceed."]
6 Being in readiness to punish all disobedience [in the church], when your own obedience is fulfilled. [when you have come to unity of the Spirit, which is to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.]
2 And do not be conformed to this world; but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may recognize what is the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God.2
6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. [Do not make the mistake of thinking you are spiritually minded unless the Lord has destroyed your carnal mind, freeing you from sin, and freeing you from walking according to the desires of your flesh and the thoughts of your mind. When you are walking with the Spirit supplying your thoughts, your words to speak, and your deeds to be performed — only then you are spiritually minded, possessing the mind of Christ as your guide. The life of spiritual mindedness is following the light of Christ as He guides you; the peace of spiritual mindedness is quietness of the mind with unquestionable assurance and confidence forever.]
2 I have spread out my hands all day to a rebellious people, who walk in a way that is not good, after their own thoughts;1
7 Let the ungodly forsake his way, and the unrighteous man [forsake] his thoughts; let him return to the LORD, and he will have mercy on him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. [Everyone is ungodly and unrighteous until the Spirit has destroyed their sinful nature on the inward cross of self-denial, which destroys the selfish, vain, carnal mind with its thoughts. The basic operation of grace is teaching us to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts, and how to live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world. Tit 2:11-12.]
8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," says the LORD.
9 "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
22 Strip yourselves of your former nature that controlled your conduct, which corrupts itself through lusts and desires that spring from delusion;
23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus; [From the Word of the Lord within: "Grow up into the mind of Christ, from which all good thoughts proceed. Your thoughts are not my thoughts. At best your thoughts are a vain hiss. Those who follow their own brain will weep and mourn; there will be great pain. The mind is a terrible thing. We labor with a cursed mind for the carnal mind is neither subject to the law of God, nor can it be; that which is in the enmity must die. You must go on waiting, watching, and listening; then our hearts will be quiet by grace. Keep seeking peace. Great will be your peace if you continue faithfully. You will receive a new heart and mind."]
|1 Corinthians 2:16 |
16 For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ. [From the Word of the Lord within: "To make decisions is to live in your carnal mind. It is many thoughts that make the mortal man. Those who follow their own brain will weep and mourn; there will be great pain. The mind is a terrible thing. There is a blessing to make the cessation of the mind permanent. Let us be patient. We must grow in silence. Keep seeking peace. Great will be your peace if you continue faithfully. You will receive a new heart and mind. Grow up into the mind of Christ, from which all good thoughts proceed."]
