23 And Jesus answered and said to him, "If a man loves me, he will obey my spoken words; and my Father will love him, and we will come to him, and make our home with him."5 [They make their home in your heart; and they live in a kingdom, into which you are translated. When you are translated into the kingdom, (while still alive on earth), you also see Him. Jesus appears in your heart. Jesus is revealed. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them, and be their God." Rev 21:3. From the Word of the Lord within: "If you give heed to my words, I will dwell in you and walk in you."]

5 And Jesus answered and said to him, "If a man loves me, he will obey my spoken words; and my Father will love him, and we will come to him, and make our home with him." Jesus said the Father and himself would come and make their home [dwell and live] in those who loved and obeyed him. (23) I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 2 Cor 6:16.

And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them, and be their God. And God will wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things have passed away." Rev 21:3-4

And I set my tabernacle in you; and my soul shall not abhor you.
And I will walk in you, and will be your God, and you shall be my people. Lev 26:11-12

My tabernacle shall also be with them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Eze 37:27

I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you, and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.
And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and you will keep my judgments, and do them. Eze 36:26-27

And they shall be my people, and I will be their God. Jer 32:38

That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith...that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Eph 3:17-19. Until we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. Eph 4:13.

All this occurs by your obedience to the spoken words you hear from Christ speaking as you persistently and patiently sit and listen in humble silence. Your obedience is perfected so that when Jesus and the Father come to make their home in your heart, (to dwell in you and walk in you), they come in sufficient measure to supply all your words to speak, command all your deeds, supply all your thoughts, and energize you to do the will of God perfectly.

This verse is sometimes translated as "If anyone loves me, he will keep my word," instead of "obey my spoken words;" but in the original Greek for the verse, (click to see), the Greek for word is logon <3056), which means: 1) of speech; 1a) a word, uttered by a living voice, embodies a conception or idea; 1b) what someone has said. The Greek for the word keep is thrhsei <5083>, which means: to attend to carefully, or to guard, or to observe. To attend to, and observe is to obey.
