John 6:35

35 And Jesus said to them, "I am the Bread of Life. He who comes to me shall never hunger; and he who believes in me shall never thirst. [Jesus is the bread of life: the life of God, the Holy Spirit, the anointing. His words that you hear him speak to you impart the life of God to your heart. To acquire more of the Holy Spirit, more truth, more life, more of Jesus, you must sit in humble silence, wait on Him, listen, hear, and obey. It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life-giving. John 6:63. Come— not to sect services, not to prayer meetings, not to altar calls, and not Bible study; Jesus even said that studying the scriptures is not coming to Him. John 5:39-40. We must come directly to him, by sitting in humble silence as we wait on Him, listening for his voiced commands and teachings. To believe in Jesus is to believe what you hear him speak to you and then to obey it.]

John 1:4

4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.2 [The word, who is Jesus, is the life of God and the light of men. Christ is the light of men: the true light that enlightens every man who comes into the world, given to them so that they might believe. John 1:7,9. The life of God in measure to control men was lost for all men when Adam disobeyed God and fell. When you have crucified your sinful, selfish life and are afterward restored to the righteousness and holiness of God's image, Christ, then you live in Christ, and Christ lives in you, controlling all your words and deeds; and this life is then eternal. Eternal life is to be a new creature in Christ on earth and forever.]

John 14:6

6 Then Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man comes to the Father, but by me. [It is not enough to believe Jesus is the Son of God; you must expose yourself to hearing him command your repentance and then obey him — repetitively until you see him bring your salvation. He guides you along this narrow way of the cross, in which you must daily deny yourself to follow, (obey), Him. As kingdom-dwelling Isaac Penington wrote: "the way is long, the travel hard, the enemies and difficulties many, and that there is need of much faith, hope, patience, repentance, watchfulness against temptations, etc., before the life in them arrives." Each word you hear from Him transmits the life of Christ to be engrafted in your heart until he is fully formed and resurrected in you to be your true Lord who rules all your words and deeds. With endurance to the end, you will come to be a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, Eph 4:13.]
