 9 Then Jesus said to him, "Have I been with you such a long time, and you still have not known me, Philip? He who has seen me, has seen the Father; so how can you then say, 'Show us the Father?' [Don't take this verse "anyone who has seen me, has seen the Father," out of context with the next verse below, where Jesus explains what he meant, saying, "Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I speak to you are not spoken from myself; but from the Father living in me, who does the miracles." Further, Jesus is the only visible representation of the Father to be seen, "who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature." Col 1:15.]
