Luke 12:35-40

Let your loins be girded and your lights burning,

Like men waiting for their lord to return from the wedding, so that when he comes and knocks, they may open to him immediately. [Behold, I stand at the door, and knock. Rev 3:20]

Blessed are those servants whom the lord finds watching when he comes. Truly I say to you, he will gird himself and make them sit down to eat, and he will come and serve them. [Behold, I stand at the door, and knock. If any man hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. Rev 3:20]

And if he comes in the second watch or the third watch, and finds them so, blessed are those servants.

Know this, that if the owner of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not have allowed his house to be broken into.

Therefore you be ready also. For the Son of man comes at an hour when you do not expect him."
