Matthew 15 Previous Chapter | Next Chapter 1 Then the scribes and Pharisees who were in Jerusalem came to Jesus, saying, 2 "Why do your disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? For they don't wash their hands when they eat bread." 3 But he answered and said to them, "Why do you transgress the commandment of God by your traditions? [Teaching the doctrines and traditions they have invented, (infant baptism, confirmation, lent, purgatory, forbidding marriage and meat, communion or Eucharist, grace that covers all sins, etc.), Christianity has done much worse than the Jews, for Christianity has cast all the commandments of God behind their backs as unnecessary; all manner of continual sin is excused by their false grace. From the word of the Lord within: "They have taken the Bible and made it an unholy thing used to justify their immersion in sin. They gutted what Jesus had to say. They would have no laws. The new law became unrighteousness. The Catholic church is medieval; it is a beast. The Protestant sects have invented nothing new except instant salvation by grace; it is twisted, pernicious lies, a fatal flaw that turns aside the just."] 4 For God commanded, saying, 'Honor your father and mother;' and, 'He who curses father or mother, let him be put to death.' 5 But you say, 'Whoever says to his father or his mother, whatever I might have given to you for your benefit, has been given to God as a gift.' 6 So he does not honor his father or his mother, thinking to be free from the requirement. Thus you have made the commandment of God of no effect by your tradition. 7 You hypocrites, Isaiah did correctly prophesy of you, saying, 8 'This people draws near to me with their mouth, and honors me with their lips; but their hearts are far from me.1 [From the word of the Lord within: "The hypocrite may talk of faith and do evil. Remember, every person who sins denies Him as Lord and Master. If you are still sinning, you belong to sin and not to Me. Only a heart that is purged of sin is acceptable to God. Everyone is expecting Jesus to be their excuse. I've warned them and given them the requirements and preached the exclusions; they should not expect anything else or conclusion." Every man is judged by their words and works, including those who claim to be Christians; God shows partiality to no man. Until your heart has been washed, cleansed, and purified, your heart is full of sin, and you are defiled; and should you die still sinning, you will be banned from heaven.] 9 But in vain they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.'"2 [God is a Spirit, and those who worship him, must worship him in spirit and in truth. John 4:23-24. So worship from your carnal mind, (which is enmity with God), speaking from your mind's will, praying from your mind, reciting a previous teaching, or singing from your mind, your words are spoken from your carnal mind and evil imagination, both repugnant to the Lord. The Apostle Paul and the early Quakers termed such worship, will-worship: worship according to man's will and mind, which mind is carnal and enmity with God. Worship in Spirit and Truth is worship with words supplied by the Spirit of God to someone who is also in the truth, (in Jesus, translated into the kingdom, in His presence); any other worship is idolatry and abomination, including all the so-called sacraments. From the word of the Lord within: "Sin in believers is intolerable. We need to get clean before we can truly worship. Christianity has no idea what I am or for what I stand. None of the churches reflect true Christianity. When they pray, they don't pray to God; they pray to their collective conscience." In vain does Christianity worship Jesus and God because they pray to an image they have created based on which scriptures they think are valid and their opinion of what those scriptures mean; thus creating an imagined image of God according to their collective conscience. Worshiping in vain, they also take His name in vain.] 10 And he called the multitude and said to them, "Hear and understand: 11 It is not what goes into the mouth that defiles a man; but that which comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man." 12 Then his disciples came and said to him, "Do you know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this saying?" 13 But he answered and said, "Every plant, which my heavenly Father has not planted, will be rooted up.3 14 Leave them alone and disregard them; they are blind guides and teachers.4 And if a blind man leads a blind man, they both will fall into a ditch." [The ministers of Christianity are the blind guides the Lord warned us about, not taught by the Lord's voice and light, not perfected by the Lord, not gifted with an authorized ministry, not sent by the Lord, and not speaking words from the Spirit of the Lord; rather, they speak from their carnal minds, the nature of death, and preach their vain opinions from the imagination of their evil hearts. In Christianity today there are millions of blind-guide preachers and blind-guide teachers in the ditch, along with their billions of captive followers, whom they have led into the ditch; the blind guides' lies have been preached by so many for so long, their lies have become pervasive in all of Christianity. By fair speaking and captivating language they deceive the hearts of the simple. Rom 16:18. They are self-appointed, unperfected, ministers posing as authorized by Christ who solicit your money and lord it over you; they are wolves in sheep's clothing, promising liberty when they themselves are slaves of corruption. From the Word of the Lord within: "Just like Judaism was taken over by the enemy, so has Christianity, which is corrupt through and through. There is no church in the world that Christ set up specifically. I work with the blind; but if you think you can see, and you are not with me in heaven, I will make you a laughingstock."] 15 Then Peter said to him, "Explain this parable to us." 16 And Jesus said, "Are you also still without understanding? 17 Do not you yet understand, that whatever enters through the mouth goes into the stomach, and is passed out and eliminated? 18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile a man. [The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked...Jer 17:9...for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth...Gen 8:21] 19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, and blasphemies. [Every man's heart starts filled with evil, filled with sin, defiled, and disqualified for heaven. All defiled men are banned from heaven. Unless cleansed by the Lord's Spirit that destroys sin within man, every man walks according to the ways of the world and the god of this world, fulfilling their desires and lusts of their flesh according to their thoughts, according to their evil imagination, according to their carnal minds that are enmity against God and cannot be subject to the law of God. Every man is judged by their words and works, including those who claim to be Christians; God shows partiality to no man. From the word of the Lord within: "Only a heart that is purged of sin is acceptable to God. Everyone is expecting Jesus to be their excuse. If you are still sinning, you belong to sin and not to Me. See myself — thus no sin has a place in me. You are without excuse O man. Sin in believers is intolerable. The pure is innocent of all defilement." You can think you are a Christian and call Him "Lord," but if you die still sinning, you are banned from heaven. When purified by grace, men are translated into heaven while on earth and then forever. To be freed of sin, even the desire to sin, you must obey the Lord's spoken commands that you expose yourself to hear, by waiting on Him in humble silence as you listen and watch; that is the one thing needed. Luke 10:39-42.] 20 These are the things that defile a man;5 but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man." [No defiled man can enter heaven until he has first been cleansed and purified from all sin by the Spirit as he bears the cross — the inward cross of self-denial. ] 21 Then Jesus left there, departing for the coasts of Tyre and Sidon. 22 And behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts and cried to him, saying, "Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil." 23 But he did not answer her a word. And his disciples came and pleaded with him, saying, "Send her away; for she cries after us." 24 But he answered, "I have only been sent to the lost sheep of the house of Israel." 25 Then came she and worshipped him, saying, "Lord, help me." 26 But he answered, "It is not proper to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs." 27 Then she said, "True, Lord, yet the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their masters' table." 28 And Jesus answered and said to her, "O woman, great is your faith, it is done for you even as you desire." And her daughter was made whole from that very hour. 29 Then Jesus departed from there, and went along by the sea of Galilee; and went up into a mountain and sat down there. 30 And great multitudes came to him, having with them those who were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and placed them down at Jesus' feet; and he healed them; 31 So much so that the multitude was astonished when they saw the dumb speak, the maimed whole, the lame walk, and the blind see; and they glorified the God of Israel. 32 Then Jesus called his disciples to him and said, "I have compassion on the multitude, because they have followed me three days now, and have nothing to eat; and I will not send them away fasting, for fear that they faint on the way." 33 And his disciples say to him, "Where would we find enough bread in the wilderness to fill so great a multitude?" 34 And Jesus said to them, "How many loaves do you have?" And they said, "Seven, and a few small fish." 35 Then he commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground. 36 And he took the seven loaves and the fish, and gave thanks, broke them, and gave them to his disciples; and the disciples gave them to the multitude. 37 Then they all ate and were filled; and they gathered up the broken pieces of food that was left, which filled seven baskets. 38 The number of those who ate was four thousand men, beside women and children. 39 Then he sent the multitude away, and took the boat to the coasts of Magdala. 1 You hypocrites... This people draws near to me with their mouth, and honors me with their lips; but their hearts are far from me. A hypocrite is someone who talks about religion while still sinning. Their hearts are still full of evil, but they attend religious services, singing, praying, paying, etc. So until you have been cleansed of sin, and then told to whom and what to say about God, or what to write about God, don't; for if you speak or write without his instructions, you will receive his condemnation. You will hear him say: "Who has required this of your hand?" The Lord did not want men to speak about him whose hearts were still full of evil: he did not need any testimony from man, for he knew what was in man, [the evil in their hearts]. John 2:25. George Fox said: "Unless your words are controlled by the Spirit of God, don't even speak the words Jesus or God." After you go to the Lord to hear and obey, repetitively, he will cleanse you and give you a new heart, which will be united with him. Then your worship will be in Spirit and Truth, with words supplied by the Holy Spirit; until then your praying, singing, and praises are abominations to the Lord, for the Father must be worshiped in Spirit and Truth. Abominations for two reasons: 1) your words come from your evil imagination, and evil heart, and carnal mind; and 2) because your hypocrisy will be evident to outsiders. Words spoken without being supplied by the spirit will be a stumbling block to the hearers, scattering the true sheep. You scatter the true sheep because he who does not gather with me [as under his direction and control], scatters. Luke 11:23, Mat 12:30.
From the Word of the Lord within: "You must cease from using my name. Don't invoke words about God."
2 In vain they worship me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men. As today Christendom's worship has man-invented, non-scriptural infant baptism, grape juice and bread, the "Apostle's Creed," the offering, the benediction, sermons, the sinner's prayer, altar calls, confirmation, bible reading, prayers from the preacher, standing to sing, kneeling, bowing to the cross, making the cross with your hand on your body, all the so-called sacraments, etc. All are the inventions of man, not scripture-prescribed forms of worship. Besides corrupting worship as described in the Bible, Christendom does not even recognize behaviors that disqualify it members; Christendom has lost sight of sin, calling evil good, good evil, putting light for darkness; Christendom says peace, peace, when there is no peace; Christendom says to the sinner who walks after the imagination of his own heart, "you are righteous because you belong to our sect, no evil shall befall you." From the Word of the Lord within: "Christendom has gutted the teachings of Jesus and have made the Bible an excuse for remaining immersed in their sins. Christianity has no idea what I am or for what I stand. None of the churches reflect true Christianity." Christendom ignores the Bible's exclusions, requirements, and qualifying conditions. Christendom tells their followers that the law is dead; except of course, they claim you are still required to tithe with your money. Christendom does not understand proper prayer, proper worship, waiting on God, grace, repentance, the inner law, the cross, the rest, the light, salvation, or the word; they perish for lack of knowledge. Christendom has broken the covenant — making the blood of Jesus and unholy thing, used to excuse sin in their members. Retribution for this spite of grace looms.
Christendom follows ordinances created by men: infant baptism, bread and wine as a ritual, water baptism, confirmation, confession, penance, last rites, hundreds of laws passed by the Roman sect called papal bulls, and Protestant-defined grace that supposedly results in instant salvation and excuses all past, present, and future sins. From the Word of the Lord within: "They think to be saved by making a noise about being saved.* Man with all his ordinances never saw the light of God."
* the noise they make is saying Jesus is Lord
God is a Spirit, and those who worship him, must worship him in spirit and in truth, John 4:23-24, which is to worship with words supplied by the Spirit, while you are also in Truth, (in union with Jesus, who is the Truth). So worship from your carnal mind, (which is enmity with God), speaking from your mind's will, praying from your mind, reciting a previous teaching, singing from your mind, reading from the Bible without direction — they are all out of a worship that is in spirit and truth, and an abomination to the Lord, including all the so-called sacraments. The Apostle Paul and the early Quakers termed such worship, will-worship: worship according to man's will and mind, which mind is carnal and enmity with God.
God must be worshipped in spirit and truth; worship must be led by His spirit to be in His spirit to worship; it must be the truth of the life He produces in your heart, which life is the light, which light is the anointing, which is truth and is no lie — the inward truth. From the Word of the Lord within: "In your worship service look around you; do you see the Holy Spirit? Proper worship is for two or three to speak as moved by the Spirit. All must worship in spirit and truth. To be in Jesus is to be in truth;" (when you are in Jesus, or in truth, you have been translated into the kingdom and are sitting with Jesus in heaven).
In his writing, No Cross No Crown, William Penn summarized vain worship of so-called Christianity vs. true worship: "Sometimes they strive to appease Him by their fleshly framed devotion and worship, but in vain; for true worshipping of God is doing his will, which they transgress."
In regard to singing in services, Edward Burrough wrote:
I own [to acknowledge the truth of] true singing with the spirit and with understanding, singing in the spirit, making melody in the heart to the Lord; this singing was and is among the saints in the church of Christ; this is well pleasing to God for it is not an imitation nor by tradition as is your singing, but it is true sacrifice, the song of the redeemed ones, which none can learn but the redeemed ones of the Lord, (who has come and is coming), to sing with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads; but your singing is carnal, traditional, and heathenish, and it is an imitation, and is not with the spirit of Jesus; but it is with the spirit of the world, with the spirit of drunkards, swearers, liars, mockers, scorners, covetous ones, with the spirit of wrath, envy, malice, with the spirit of Cain, and with the spirit of the scribes and Pharisees and chief priests who persecuted the saints that sang in truth in former generations; and now the deceit is turned into the form of singing, and they that live there persecute those that sing in the power.
In regard to communion in services, Edward Burrough wrote:
The true communion of saints I own [to acknowledge the truth of] for we have union in the bread that we break, which is the body of Christ, and the cup which we drink is the blood of Christ, by which we are nourished and fed up to eternal life; for he that does not eat of Christ flesh and drink his blood, he has no life in him;* he among you that can hear, let him hear, but I deny your communion because it is heathenish and no more but an imitation, having proceeded out of the imagination of the proud. Your breaking of bread and drinking of the cup is an abomination that God never commanded; and your Pharisee upholds this, sitting in the seat of Christ and of the saints as the Pharisees sat in Moses' seat, saying and not doing.
*The words of the Lord you hear spoken to you are the bread of life, the bread from heaven. The words are his flesh and blood. Each word you hear from the Spirit is the life of Jesus, (his flesh and blood), that is engrafted into your heart; forming Christ within you; until Christ is fully formed and resurrected in you to be your true Lord, ruling your thoughts, your words, and your deeds. From the Word of the Lord within, "Christ is actually resurrected in every person that comes to Him and obeys Him repetitively. With persistent and faithful obedience, you too will be raised."
The Word of the Lord within has described the programmed worship of the sects as "theater!" Think about it, and you can see the will-worship of man is nothing but a staged performance — planned, rehearsed, accompanied by extensive music, often even guided with a printed program — just like a stage play. The only thing missing is an intermission to sell snacks and drinks.
From the word of the Lord within: "Just like Judaism was taken over by the enemy, so has Christianity, which is corrupt, through and through. There is no church in the world that Christ set up specifically. When they pray, they don't pray to God; they pray to their collective conscience." In vain does Christianity worship Jesus and God because they pray to an image they have created based on which scriptures they think are valid and their opinion of what those scriptures mean; thus creating an imagined image of God according to their collective conscience. Who is it really that they imagine? A god who ignores believers' continual sinning until death; and according to William Penn: "the deity they truly worship is the god of this world, the great lord of lusts," who is Satan; and also according to early Quaker, kingdom-dwelling Isaac Penington: "in the apostasy, men have not known God or Satan, the light or the darkness; but have mistook, taking the one for the other, worshipping the devil instead of God."
From the Word of the Lord within: "Do you agree with any who in their arrogance have stated that God excuses evil in believers? It's not fair, but they don't care. By their evident display of sin, Christians cause my name to be blasphemed among the people. These people no longer represent me; they have caused great indignation."
3 Every plant, which my heavenly Father has not planted, will be rooted up. Jesus is speaking of every spiritual plant in a man's heart. The devil has sown his spirit into every man's heart: envy, greed, sexual immorality, pride, anger, profanity, lying, stealing, etc.; and each of these must be rooted out of a man's heart before he can be in the company of God in heaven. Notice, he says every plant WILL BE rooted up: either in this life voluntarily through the inward cross of self-denial, or in the next life's part in the lake of fire.
4 Leave them alone and disregard them; they are blind guides and teachers. From the Word of the Lord within: "There are millions of blind guide preachers. I work with the blind; but if you think you can see, and you are not with me in heaven, I will make you a laughingstock." In Zechariah, the Lord states his anger against the blind guides: My anger is kindled against the shepherds and I will punished the goat leaders. Zech 10:3. The shepherds of Christendom are all goat leaders. They have deceived their followers to believing a false salvation; so their followers remain sinning goats, rather than sinless sheep. They ignore God's exclusions, his requirements, and his qualifying conditions. The ministers of Christendom think that salvation's Biblically stated requirements of cleansing, purity, perfection, and holiness are impossible. They don't know how to receive the changing power of God. These goat leaders are self-appointed; not appointed by the Holy Spirit for the perfecting of the saints; not taught, perfected, restored, and authorized by the Lord. So the goat leaders of Christendom read the dead letter of the Bible to their followers, rather than speak words supplied by the Holy Spirit, words which give life to their followers, changing them from goats to sheep. The letter kills, the spirit gives life. 2 Cor 3:6; The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life-giving. John 6:63.
The following is what the word of the Lord within has spoken concerning the blind guides of Christendom today:
"Beware of false prophets. There are millions of blind guide preachers. How can the ministers claim to be mine, when inside they are full of deceit and hypocrisy? They do everything for show. The gregarious make a living teaching the scriptures. Those who preach against perfection have a lack of earnest faith. False prophets appeal to unstable souls. I am against the shepherds, who have prophesied a false salvation. They have taken the Bible and made it an unholy thing used to justify their immersion in sin. Much of the Bible has been trivialized. They gutted what Jesus had to say; Jesus is ad tunes. They forget about me and teach errors. They teach the commandments of men; in vain do they worship me. They throw the word 'righteousness' around without any understanding of what it means. There is no hope; there is no guidance, other than 'study the scriptures.' Woe be to them, for they have coupled an external form between the love of God to man. Ten words from Him are better than ten copied letters. They cannot understand what the Spirit is doing. Their preaching only conveys the pride of Samaria. Outside the faith, they are teaching an equilibrium between good and evil. The leaders of Christianity are dogs — blind, dumb, ignorant dogs; professing to know everything, they know nothing; professing to know everything, they live their lives as fools. Those who follow the advice of these unpurified leaders, their life is like a bubble. I refuse to answer them. We deliberately ignore those of great repute. The leader of their army is Lucifer. They want to be sons; they recognize the scripture, 'he that is born of God has no sin,' but they blithely go on. These people are far from me, living in sin and teaching others the inevitability of sin until death. I further decry those who make a living preaching the scriptures."
"Just like Judaism was taken over by the enemy, so has Christianity, which is corrupt, through and through. Like Daniel, you are captive of the Chaldeans. Your place of worship is filled with unclean birds. Babylon is great and mighty. Babylon the great: aggrandizement of self. Oh Christendom, be not at ease in Babylon! Woe to those who try to bring good from evil. In your worship service look around you; do you see the Holy Spirit? Proper worship is for two or three to speak as moved by the Spirit. There is no church in the world that Christ set up specifically; none of the churches reflect true Christianity. Christianity has no idea what I am or for what I stand. The leaders of Christianity are dogs — blind, dumb, ignorant dogs; professing to know everything, they know nothing; professing to know everything, they live their lives as fools. Despite his record, the world regards Augustine as the foremost expert on religion. The Catholic church is medieval; it is a beast. Those of the Aegean Sea, their counsels are thick and dark; their hearts are callous and cold. The Protestant sects have invented nothing new except instant salvation by grace; it is twisted, pernicious lies, a fatal flaw that turns aside the just. Do you agree with any who in their arrogance have stated that God excuses evil in believers? It's not fair, but they don't care."
True shepherds speak words from the Spirit of God immediately before speaking; as Paul said: Which things also we speak, not in the words, which man's wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Spirit instructs; explaining spiritual things with spiritual words. 1 Cor 2:13; and as Peter said: If any man speaks, let him speak with God's words [oracles]; 1 Pet 4:11. But the goat leaders speak words from their carnal minds, which are enmity against God, and from the evil imaginations of their hearts. Even Jesus did not judge, speak, or act without the Spirit's specific prompting. Jesus said:
If Jesus, as great as He is and was, would only speak the words He heard from the Father; then how much more should we be careful to speak nothing about God or Jesus unless we hear the exact words to say at that moment. Any man who speaks of God or Christ without the Spirit's specific promptings is seeking his own glory, and he is estimating himself to be greater than Christ, for Christ said: The disciple is not above his master, but everyone who is perfect [purified, restored to the spiritual image of God, specifically authorized, and perfected] will be like his master, Luke 6:39-42. Those that speak and/or work for God without being specifically ordered in each and every word and action, are essentially claiming their own words and deeds are superior to what Jesus' would be if he had made his own decisions about what to say and do; the Master sees everything to do and hears everything to say before speaking. Anyone without perfection, not having been sent, and speaking without God providing his words to speak, is a blind guide seeking his own glory, your money, and/or your admiration of him.
From the Word of the Lord within:
Like the evil shepherds of Israel, the preachers today feed themselves by taking money from their followers. Preaching for a salary is the error of Balaam, which is spiritual adultery, loving wages and profit — both Peter and Jude had some very grave things to say about those who solicit donations or preach for a salary: "Woe to them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, have run greedily in the error of Balaam for pay, and perished in the rebellion of Korah. They have a heart exercised in covetous practices, and are accursed children — for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness." Peter, Paul, and Jesus all spoke strongly against preachers who took money from the flock, feeding themselves: the goat leaders of Christendom. "Come out from among them, and be separate," says the Lord, "and touch no unclean thing; and I will receive you. And I will be a Father to you, and you shall be my sons and daughters," says the Lord Almighty. 2 Cor. 6:17. Leave them alone and disregard them; they are blind guides and teachers. Come out of her, my people, so that you do not share in her sins, and so you will not receive her plagues. Rev 18:4-7
From the Word of the Lord within: "There are millions of blind guide preachers; they shall all be put in jail. Don't ever be a blind guide."
The millions of blind guide preachers will not get out of Hell until everyone whom they have misled is released from Hell; he who leads into captivity will go into captivity, Rev 13:10. In the eyes of the world, the preachers are held with great esteem. But many who are first will be last; and the last first. Mat 19:30
There is a web page, How to Identify a Blind Guide or False Prophet, devoted to the doctrines of false prophets/blind guide preachers vs. true prophets/ministers to help you distinguish a true preacher/teacher from a false preacher/teacher.
From the Word of the Lord within
Of the millions of blind guides preachers, many hear a voice they think it is the Lord speaking to them, but they really don't know that the true voice of the Lord is like thunder over waters; and the soft, gentle voice of the Holy Spirit or the Word within their heart cannot be accurately identified as different from the voice of the devil. So the devil speaks volumes of instructions and prophecies to the blind guides, who think it is the Lord. This allows the devil to be very controlling in the 45,000 sects in Christianity. In addition, the devil works miraculous healings that the blind guides and their listeners also think is the Lord's work, (in the Book of Revelation, we are told the spirits of demons would be working miracles. Rev 16:14).
This is why we should only follow commands heard that urge us to repent from our behaviors we understand to be wrong; for if we follow commands that tell us to do anything else, we are responding to the devil's impersonation of God as the unsuspecting, blind guides of Christianity do. You may hear the Lord tell you to go ahead with your considering to buy something or do something that you feel is necessary; and providing it is nothing that you know to be wrong, or it is nothing He has told you not to do in the past, you can follow His suggestions before you can distinguish His voice. If you don't need what you are considering to purchase, He may plainly tell you, "you don't need it." If it is not necessary to do something you are considering, He may tell you, "it's not necessary." If it is necessary and/or needed, he may encourage you to proceed.
We will hear the Lord's voice like thunder over waters for the first time after we have submitted to the baptism of fire and death to be resurrected as a new creature. Then, as John 10:3-5 states: we will know his voice, he will lead us out of the world to the kingdom, and we will flee from other voices.
5 Out of the heart proceeds evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies; these are the things that defile a man. The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked...Jer 17:9...for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth...Gen 8:21. Every man's heart starts filled with evil, filled with sin, defiled, and disqualified for heaven. If you lie, commit adultery (even by looking at someone with lust), steal (cheat), murder, (hate is murder in your heart), or have impure thoughts — according to Jesus, you are defiled. Look at Jesus. Do you think He is going to join with a defiled man? Do you think Jesus is going to want the company of a defiled man? No — I assure you. You must repent. You must be cleansed. You must be purified before you can have any part of Him. From the word of the Lord within: "The pure is innocent of all defilement."
