| Matthew 6:5-8 5 And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites are; for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, so that they may be seen by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward. 6 But when you pray, go to your inner room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. [Your most inner room is your heart.] 7 Pray, but do not babble repetitiously as the heathen do, thinking that by their many words they will be heard.[Do not be rash with your mouth, and do not let your heart be hasty to utter anything before God.
