1 God said to my Lord, "Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet." Jesus said, “I am. And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven.” Mark 14:62. In the future you will see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of the power of God. Luke 22:69. So Jesus, sitting at the right hand of power, has been waiting for God the Father to put all his enemies under his (Jesus') feet; and after all the enemies of Jesus have been made submissive to Jesus, then Jesus will formally submit himself to God, delivering all the creation in submission to God, so that God will be all in all:

Then comes the end, when he [Jesus, the Son] delivers the kingdom to God, the Father; when he has put down all rule and all authority and power.
For he must reign, until he has put all enemies under his feet.
The last enemy that will be destroyed is death.
For he has put all things under his feet. But when he said all things are put under him, it is evident that the one [God the Father] is excluded, who put all things under him.
And when all things are subdued to him [Jesus, the Son], then will the Son himself also be subject to him who put all things under him, so that God [the Father] may be all in all. 1 Cor 15:24-28
