2 I will behold your face in righteousness; I shall be satisfied when I awaken by seeing your likeness. David is speaking of seeing the glory of God in the face of Christ Jesus, when he awakens. David lived before the age of the Kingdom's availability to men. So, he was not translated into the Kingdom; but he was enlightened, he saw God, he was in close communication with God's promptings and directions, and he saw what the Kingdom would be like in the future for the saints on the earth. See the many scriptures, most from David, that speak of beholding the face of God.
