6 Behold, you desire truth in the inward being; make me to know wisdom in the inmost part.1 [To receive wisdom, you must turn inward, to wait on God in humble silence, listening, watching, hearing, and then obeying. You hear Him speak His word from within your heart; that is the word that the Apostles preached. From the Word of the Lord within: "Turn inward to discover the mysteries." Because what may be known of God is revealed in them; Rom 1:19. To know wisdom in the inmost part is not head knowledge; it is understandings and teachings received by revelation from God, which if heeded the words are engrafted and written in your heart, strengthening the inner man, which is the life of God, Christ within you; for the words that He speaks to you are Spirit and life-giving, John 6:63 . Since Christ is the truth and the wisdom of God, both are written in your heart.]

Romans 2:29

29 But he is a Jew, who is one inwardly; and the circumcision is that of the heart, by the Spirit,5 and not by the letter; whose praise is not from men, but from God. [The Spirit circumcises your heart, cutting away the sins as you wait on God to receive his grace that both charges sin and then removes sin, purifying a peculiar people zealous for good works. Reading about sin in the Bible does not remove the desire for sin from your heart; only the Spirit does that.]
