|Psalms 110 |
1 God said to my Lord, "Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet."1
2 God shall send the rod of your strength out of Zion; rule in the midst of your enemies.2
3 Your people shall be willing in the day of your power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning; you have the dew of your youth.
4 The LORD has sworn, and will not change it, "You are a priest forever after the order of Melchizedeck."
5 The Lord at your right hand shall strike through [execute] kings in the day of his wrath.
6 He shall execute judgment on the nations. He shall fill all places with the dead bodies. He shall crush the rulers across the earth.3
7 He shall drink of the brook in the way; therefore he shall lift up the head [in authority and rule granted].

1 God said to my Lord, "Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet." Jesus said, “I am. And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven.” Mark 14:62. In the future you will see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of the power of God. Luke 22:69. So Jesus, sitting at the right hand of power, has been waiting for God the Father to put all his enemies under his (Jesus') feet; and after all the enemies of Jesus have been made submissive to Jesus, then Jesus will formally submit himself to God, delivering all the creation in submission to God, so that God will be all in all:
Then comes the end, when he [Jesus, the Son] delivers the kingdom to God, the Father; when he has put down all rule and all authority and power.
For he must reign, until he has put all enemies under his feet.
The last enemy that will be destroyed is death.
For he has put all things under his feet. But when he said all things are put under him, it is evident that the one [God the Father] is excluded, who put all things under him.
And when all things are subdued to him [Jesus, the Son], then will the Son himself also be subject to him who put all things under him, so that God [the Father] may be all in all. 1 Cor 15:24-28
2 God shall send the rod of your strength out of Zion; rule in the midst of your enemies. In that age, (soon to come), the Lord will rule the earth through his Saints, and he will rule the nations through them with a rod of iron.
3 He shall execute judgment on the nations. He shall fill all places with the dead bodies. He shall crush the rulers across the earth. As of 2009, this prophecy of destruction of all the evil people of the world has yet to be fulfilled; it references the entire earth and all nations. The Lord is going to destroy all the evil people of the entire world, leaving the world populated only by those who heed and obey his voice, walking completely in way he commands them. In Jeremiah 25, the Lord having destroyed Jerusalem and Judah, then reasons with us saying how could we expect to escape the same punishment when we are doing the same thing: not seeking him, not listening to his voice, and not obeying him. Almost everyone, so-called Christians included, are walking after the imagination of their own hearts, which is worse than worshiping idols and false gods. Unless we are listening to and following the voice of the Lord within our hearts, the Lord is not our God; our god is ourselves, serving our selfish desires, following our lusts of the flesh, lusts of the eye, and pride of life. So to make the Lord your God, you must go to him. You must wait on him and listen silently, with the humility of a sinner in need of his changing power — grace. So wait, watch, listen, hear, obey... wait, watch, listen, hear, obey..... seek, listen, obey. Keep doing this until Christ appears in your heart as a magnificent star. You must persist in doing this and must endure to the end, when Christ brings salvation.
Come, my people, enter into your chambers and shut your doors behind you; hide yourself, as it were, for a little while, until the indignation is past. The LORD comes out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity. Isa 26:20-21. More prophecy of the Lord finally dealing with the iniquity of the earth, to destroy all those who do not listen to his voice and obey him, after every man hears the Voice of the Lord [pleading with him] and turns his back on the Lord. This is like the firstborn of Egypt being destroyed; those who ate the Passover supper and had marked their doors with the blood of the lamb, were spared. The spiritual equivalent is all those of the first birth will be destroyed; those who have truly died to the flesh, by crucifying their selfish fleshly life, will be spared; having their consciences sprinkled with the blood of Jesus to be purged of dead works, living only in obedience to serve Living God.
Before this happens, as Jeremiah said in Jer 25:31, "he will plead with all flesh." Related messages from the word of the Lord within in 2008:
