|Psalms 32 |
Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
Blessed is the man to whom the LORD imputes no iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.
When I kept silent about my sin, my bones wasted away through my groaning all the day long.
For day and night your hand was heavy upon me; my vitality was turned into the drought of summer. Selah.
Then I acknowledge my sin to you, and I did not hide my iniquity. I said, "I will confess my transgressions to the LORD," and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
Therefore let everyone who is godly pray to you in a time when you may be found; surely the floods of great waters shall not come near him.
You are my hiding place; you shall preserve me from trouble, you surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah.
I [the Lord] will instruct you and teach you in the way that you shall go; I will guide you with my eye. [From the Word of the Lord within: "Walking in the light is to be guided through life by God; walking in darkness is making your own decisions as to what to do and say; all sin is darkness. I will come again to the elect; I will be their crown to lead and guide them."]
Do not be like the horse or the mule, which have no understanding, whose mouth must be controlled with bit and bridle or they will not come with you.
Many are the sorrows of the wicked, but mercy shall surround he who trusts in the LORD.
Be glad in the LORD and rejoice, you righteous; shout for joy, all you who are upright in heart.
