11 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no one buys their merchandise any more.4

12 The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all scented wood, and all manner of vessels of ivory, and vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble,

13 And cinnamon, and odors, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and the souls of men! [Yes, the false church, which owned 40% of all land in Europe in 1400 AD, was a great merchant power in goods; but they also sold salvation, sold forgiveness, sold heaven, sold escape from purgatory — at least to the ignorant. The intelligent were executed: 9,000,000 executed between 900 and 1400 AD. Today, Christendom's sects are major stockholders in most exchanges.]

4 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no one buys their merchandise any more. The merchants are the preachers and priests in Babylon, (masquerading as ministers of righteousness, preaching make-believe Christianity), who have gotten rich charging for their false teachings, charging money, preaching for filthy lucre; the hired hands who speak lies in hypocrisy until their conscience was seared as though with a hot iron. At the time of the beginning of the Protestant Reformation, the Roman sect owned 40% of all the property in Europe. To say that Christendom was rich, is an understatement; Christendom almost owned the whole word, but had lost its soul. Today, Christendom's sects are major stockholders in most exchanges. A single well-known American televangelist, who preaches the gospel of prosperity, in 2008 bragged that he was a billionaire, "walking in that a long time."
