|Revelation 7:9-10 |
9 After this I beheld, and lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, out of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and with palms in their hands;2
10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, "Salvation to our God who sits upon the throne, and to the Lamb."
2 A second group of men, of all nations, and tongues. They were not Jews; their hearts had not been circumcised while on earth. These are the spiritual Gentiles. But they had on white robes. Unlike Rev 14:4's description of the 144,000, there is no mention of these spiritual Gentiles having been redeemed from the earth, no mention of them being first fruits, no mention of them having been obedient followers of the lamb, and no mention of them being chaste virgins. So, they had not been obedient on the earth. They had not put to death the deeds of the body through the Spirit, to obtain a circumcised heart, and they had not become Sons of God on the earth. But they were there.
