13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in revelry [partying] and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and excess, not in strife and envying. 3 For the time that is past is sufficient for us to have done what the Gentiles do, when we walked in sensuality, lusts, excess of wine, reveling [partying], banqueting, and abominable idolatries [wanting anything — covetousness]. [From the Word of the Lord within: "Modesty: be modest in all things."]
5 And when Aaron saw it, he built an altar before it; and made a proclamation, and said, "Tomorrow is a feast to the LORD."
6 And they rose up early on the next day and offered burnt offerings and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play. [Adults play with singing, dancing, and drinking, with strong sexual overtones at least. Today we would call this partying.]
