Romans 8:13

 13 For if you live according to the flesh [the sinful nature], you will die; but if through the Spirit you mortify [put to death] the deeds of the body, you will live.4 [Therefore mortify [put to death] the deeds of the body which are of the earthly life; fornication, impurity, inordinate affections, evil lusts of the flesh, and covetousness, which is idolatry.
