Deuteronomy 10:12-17

12 And now, Israel, what does the LORD your God require of you, but to fear the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul,

13 To keep the commandments of the LORD, and his statutes, which I command you this day for your good?

14 Behold, the heaven and the heaven of heavens is the LORD's your God, the earth also, with all that in it is.

15 Only the LORD had a delight in your fathers to love them, and he chose their seed after them, even you above all people, as it is this day.

16 Therefore circumcise the foreskin of your heart,2 and do not be stiff necked [stubbornly self-willed] any longer.

17 For the LORD your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty God, and an awesome God, who shows no partiality to persons, nor does he take rewards.

2 circumcise the foreskin of your heart, And the LORD your God will circumcise your heart, and the heart of your seed, to love the LORD your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, that you may live. Deu 30:6. Circumcise yourselves to the LORD, and take away the foreskins of your heart you men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem, lest my fury come forth like fire and burn so that none can quench it because of the evil of your doings. Jer 4:4. Obviously you cannot circumcise your heart; but the Holy Spirit can, and is eager to do so, making you a spiritual Jew: For he is not a Jew, who is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God. Romans 2:28-29.
