10 For with the heart, man believes to righteousness; and with the mouth, man confesses to salvation.2 [Your believing the words you hear in your heart, and obeying what he commands, leads to salvation and righteousness. Obedience leads to righteousness, Rom 6:16; we believe what the Spirit of Christ in our hearts speaks to us as we wait for the hope for righteousness, Gal 5:5. Salvation is to be delivered from all sin, to have been purified by the grace of God that separates man from sin. To confess salvation is to confess you have been freed from all sin and have witnessed Jesus being raised in your heart, bringing your salvation, which is eternal life in God; like Paul confessed: I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. Gal 2:20. Jesus does not want the testimony of men with their hearts still full of evil, as we all are, until we are cleansed by Him.

As John said: Little children, let no man deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, even as He is righteous. 1 John 3:7; Jesus only spoke, judged, and did as He was prompted and ordered by God; to practice righteousness we also must be able to only speak what we hear Him order us to say and only do what we are ordered to do by God. This ability only comes after we have crucified our selfish spirit, as sin has been destroyed by the Spirit through bearing the inward cross of self-denial; then we are walking the same way He walked and in the world as He was with perfection, purity, and holiness. Peter warned us about how easily Paul's letters were twisted by the wicked (those still sinning): There are some things in his letters that are hard to understand, which those who are unlearned and unstable wrest [twist] to their own destruction, as they also do the other scriptures. Therefore, beloved, since you know these things beforehand, beware lest you also, being led away by the error of the wicked. 2 Pet 3:17-18. The wicked try to convince you that sin is overlooked and excused by your believing in Jesus, but the righteous plead with you that sin is not acceptable: Paul said, Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame. 1 Cor 15:34. To believe in Jesus, is to believe what he commands you to do; that belief results in obedience which leads to righteousness and salvation.]

2 The true meaning of Rom 10:9-10 has been twisted to prove the pretended salvation of Christendom, that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, man believes to righteousness, and with the mouth, man confesses to salvation. The blind guides of Christendom have totally misinterpreted this verse, teaching that if you say out loud "Jesus is Lord" and believe he rose from the dead in Jerusalem, then you will be saved; from the Word of the Lord within: "They think to be saved by making a noise about being saved." That is like believing that a few magic words spoken by you totally cancel the Bible's many warnings of exclusion, the requirements, and the qualifying conditions of salvation.

Paul further shows that beginning belief and salvation do not occur simultaneously in his letters to believers in the churches.

And Peter echoes the same message that salvation is not just believing or faith, rather salvation is the end of faith's obedient journey and requires growth :

Unless the Lord truly controls your words and deeds, he is not your Lord. Unless you obey him, he is not your Lord.
If Jesus is your Lord, then you obey him; you seek his guidance, you seek his teachings, you seek his commands to you,
you come to him, you listen to him, and then you faithfully obey him.
Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be My people.
And walk in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well with you. Jer 3:23

Even Adolph Hitler said Jesus his Lord and Savior, but that certainly did nothing for him.

Saying the words, 'Jesus is Lord,' is no indication of you being controlled by the Holy Spirit, or of your salvation.
Jesus said, “Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written:
‘This people honors Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me. Mark 7:6
Why do you call me, 'Lord, Lord,' and not do what I tell you? Luke 6:46-49.
Afterwards the other virgins also came, saying, 'Lord, Lord, open the door for us to enter.' But he answered and said, 'Truly I say to you, I do not know you.' Mat 25:11-12.
Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter into the kingdom of heaven; but [only] he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Mat 7:21-23

From the Word of the Lord within: "Everyone is expecting Jesus to be their excuse. They are a stubborn people; their hearts have waxed cold. They think to be saved by making a noise about being saved. They are a clueless, fruitless people. Do you agree with any who in their arrogance have stated that God excuses evil in believers? It's not fair, but they don't care. By their evident display of sin, Christians cause my name to be blasphemed among the people. These people no longer represent me; they have caused great indignation."
