Titus 1:16

16 They profess that they know God; but they deny him by what they do, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work. [It is not what you say you are, but what you do that makes you a Christian or not; from the Word of the Lord within: "If all that profess me, would possess me. Remember, every person who sins denies Him as Lord and Master. Do you know him or just pretend to know him; to know him is to have met him and listened to him. Seek the meeting." Good works are those that God directs a crucified, pure man to perform. When your selfish, evil nature has been destroyed, then you are directed by Him in good works to His glory. Until then, you can call him Lord, you can call him Master, but so did Judas, even kissing Him. You are the slaves of him whom you obey; whether of sin that leads to death, or of obedience that leads to righteousness. Rom 6:16.]
